Everything about this site is peaceful and Serene. We enjoy tent camping and we love being in nature. No matter what site you have you will hear the creek. We really couldn't have been happier we will definitely be returning.

It definitely requires a vehicle with high clearance to get there. But as for the site, simply exquisite!

Weekend Trip to Red Fern

Absolutely beautiful views on the hiking trail nearby. The hosts were really nice and the campground dogs are adorable. I would not recommend trying to find this place in the dark, read the directions they give you carefully. Site 1 is right on the swimming hole and you can hear the creek, the water is so clear as well, it’s very pretty and peaceful. The tent rentals were nice and convenient, they set them up for us.

Beautiful site and we had such a great time! Very easy walk to the falls and the two sweet dogs hanging out with us all day was a plus. This site was secluded from the other sites but still easily accessible to the restrooms.

The campsite was great and the area was beautiful. A good swimming place if have that in mind while trying to find a campsite. There was definitely a lot of places to adventure to and a great place to make memories. The only complaints I would have is that the campsites were not numbered, so other campers were a little confused. It’s also a little hard to get across the creek to the campsites. Not because of the water but because of the uneven rocky dirt road. Even in a truck it was a little hard to get across.

2 nights at The Buffalo Farm

We loved our stay at the Buffalo Farm cabin 1! It was exactly as pictured and went above and beyond our expectations. Star gazing while in the hot tub was unbelievable! We also saw a fox in the field behind the cabin. The cabin was in a great location - in the quiet countryside, but not too remote. An added bonus was LC’s tour of his farm. It was fun to see the animals (some close up) but our favorite was getting to feed the buffalo. LC is an amazing host and took care to make sure we had an awesome stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed the drive to this spot! Would definitely recommend checking it out!

This campsite is a truly beautiful and peaceful primitive retreat. The natural rock formations, flowing stream, and water hole provided the perfect backdrop for our overnight stay. The road to the site is rough, so be sure your vehicle has good tires. Our all-wheel-drive Toyota Highlander handled it just fine. We had the entire campsite to ourselves, making the experience even more serene. The location, nestled in a canyon beside the creek, offered a refreshing breeze at night, and the sound of running water was better than any white noise machine. I slept like a baby. Hiking is easily accessible right from the campground, and the nearby nature trail is a short drive away. The views and swimming spots along the trail are breathtaking. The campsite itself has well-placed fire pits, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. This is the perfect place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. We will be frequent visitors now!

Unfortunately, we had to spend the night in a spot different from the one we paid for. There was a group of people in our spot. Campsite #1 is the only spot to the right, so there was no way of confusing their own booking with the one we reserved. It would be great if the different spots could be clearly marked, and it would be even better to make it clear that the sites are not "free-for-all". Apart from that, the property is in an amazing location, beautiful creek and swimming holes. We had a lot of fun exploring the local area. Things to note: no cell service, creek crossing was fine in a stock Subaru Outback.

The campsite and the location were splendid, we got a perfect camping experience. The weather was a little bad and we reached very late in the night, but the experience we had was totally worth it! Would also recommend hiking the trials close to the campground :)

I LOVED this campsite. It was so beautiful, clean, and quiet. I was absolutely floored by how gorgeous the water was. It was not too hard to find, we took a wrong turn at one point but we were eventually able to figure it out.

This 7 acre property is completely surrounded by Arkansas Natural Heritage-Natural Area. There are miles of trails and cooling waters at every turn. If you like Kings River Falls, get ready to fall in love with this Red Fern Campground. So pack your curiosity, lace up your hiking boots, and let the whispering leaves guide you. Kings River Falls awaits, ready to share its secrets with those who listen. Where time slows down and the modern world fades away. Every turn reveals a new wonder; a hidden waterfall an unnoticed cave or bluff or a moss-covered boulder. It’s not just a place; it’s an experience an invitation to step beyond the ordinary and into a world where magic still thrives and fairy tales come alive. Here, the forest whispers secrets, and the river sings a timeless song. Most of our campsites are just yards away from a public swimming area, which is shared between our property and the Arkansas Natural Area. You should expect local traffic at the main swimming area during your stay. We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions). There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.
