And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own. I work at the Calico Rock Museum and invite you to visit us. We have a wonderful Heritage Center and a gallery/gift shop with works of art created by local artisans. You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that. There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas. The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.) The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE. The Campground is not far from River access, plentiful creeks, waterfalls and lots of options for float trips. The cutest little river town is just down the road - Hardy Arkansas! You will understand why we all call this area of NEA paradise. Hardy has restaurants, junk shops, candy shop and a hippy store! Hardy beach is a treasure of a local swimming hole with waterfalls and rope swing. Camp Cock-A-Doodle is surrounded by tall trees and truly gives you that deep wood vibe. Details of the campground came right from the land. Large rocks collected from the land were used to create the fire pits. The cedar post marking each campsite were harvested right from the land.

Williams Camp : Eleven Point River

If you're looking to float the river, be sure to research the many springs on the way down your trip and the historic mill communities that once flourished there. These are perfect opportunities to take a break, eat a meal, and explore the area. Most also will have public bathrooms. Unless there are multiple reservations, you will be allowed to hookup/stay at whichever site is the easiest for you to get parked at. The other two sites are approximately 50 yards away, 209 being one of these sites. The total property area is 30 acres with rarely any traffic on the country road.
