Weekend Trip to Ariana Acres

The Golden Bowl was absolutely beautiful—legitimately glowing in the evening sun. It felt peaceful, private, and like our own little slice of nature. The stay was incredible from start to finish, and it was super easy to find, which made the arrival stress-free. The host was amazing—generous, super helpful, and quick to respond to any questions we had. Being able to bring my dog made the experience even better. There was plenty of firewood, which was a lifesaver for the chilly night. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved the cabin! A perfect getaway in and of itself and close to the beautiful coast! The tub was great!

2 nights at Ariana Acres

I wanted to take my son camping for spring break but was on a tight budget and was feeling exhausted from working two jobs. I needed something easy, stress free and affordable. Christine’s lhillside hideaway checked off all these boxes and more. It’s close to town so you can skip cooking and eat out. Plenty of shopping and hiking in the vicinity plus the ocean is just a hour drive away through the redwoods. There is an adorable tea bar set up that also provides a way to heat water for coffee, instant oatmeal and hot chocolate. There is a comfy bed and couch so room for family of 3-4 to sleep comfortably. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill and a handwashing station. There is a “composting” toilet but you may want to go number 2 in town or at the nearby campground where you can shower. I recommend bringing a few of those little propane tanks if it’s cold outside to use with the heater. (there’s a local hardware store to grab them if you need them) bring toilet paper, any dishes you may need, lantern or flashlights and matches. My son, dog, parrot and I had a relaxing time and plan to visit again. Don’t forget garbage bag to take all of your garbage, paper towels, toilet paper etc away. Be kind and considerate of this gem of a hostess so that we can continue to have a safe affordable place to enjoy!

Weekend Trip to EL EL Cool Ranch

We had a great time. This was a really great spot, with a fantastic view. It is pretty far out, so you need 4wd or AWD to get out there. Ideally, get there during the day bc the road in is rough and there are some guard dogs at the neighbor’s place that you have to try to not run over. The Geodome is like a large tent. You should plan on it feeling like camping and dress and bring food to cook accordingly. It was pretty cold at night, and the fire didn’t really warm up the dome, so it’s good to just wear layers. Elias was super helpful and nice. We came in late, and he left the gate open. He was away for the weekend, but replied to a text giving good advice on where to explore on the property. We also got to meet Lulu, who is playful and very friendly if you have a pup of your own.

Bob’s place was perfect for us. A unique rustic feeling cabin nestled in the redwoods complete with outside bathtub and shower (shower inside as well), a sauna, and PLENTY of cooking materials including spices! We enjoyed the aesthetic outside and inside and especially the outside naps on the bed. Great proximity to beaches and Mendocino. The only problem… now I want an outside shower and bed at my place!! Lol!

Had an amazing stay! The road does require a vehicle with a little clearance. The property and dome are absolutely incredible. Will be going back to visit Eli and Lulu

The dome was amazing! Eli Lulu, and Jess are all super nice and friendly. They have great recommendations of what to do nearby and are very accommodating. We ended up going on a little hike and hammering above the creek which was so relaxing. We went at the beginning of spring, so there wer plenty of daffodils And gorgeous tiny wild flowers everywhere. Really nice wineries nearby. The wood fire stove was also great and super cozy. The shelves are stocked with gorgeous handmade pottery. We ended up loving the mugs we used so much that we asked to buy them And ended up taking them home! Overall great trip and I ended up getting engaged there! Will be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Wise Oak Farm

The tiny house is well-built with all the basics you need. The heat worked perfectly (I was here in March with cool, rainy weather). My visit was short, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sonoma County. It's in a great location to visit the coast, the redwoods, the wineries, or just bounce around from town to town. They even have a few nice little recommended itineraries to get you started on your adventures.

First time in a tiny home and we’re impressed by the spaciousness and comfort. It’s a neat property and we’d love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the open spaces—but even in wet, gray February was cozy and comfortable. Very clean, great communication, excellent location to visit Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and beyond.

The land is beautiful and the tent was so cosy! The hosts did a wonderful job providing all the amenities we needed to have a great trip◡̈ cant wait to see what they have in store, since it’s still in development. Even still, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place. Lovely tent setup with great amenities. The tent was cutely decorated for the holidays. Bed was super comfy. We were given 2 space heaters that kept us warm. Firepit on the porch as well. Lots of extra tealight candles for emergency lights. Enjoyed having all the tall trees around. Unfortunately came after a rainy day, expected it and that’s why we booked a lodging site than bringing our own tent. But our 2WD wasn’t safe to drive down the short but steep dirt road to the campsite. Too muddy. But I imagine it would be no problem any other day. It’s a short walk to the site regardless. Campground is still in development but we enjoyed it for what it was and the could see the vision. Wishing the best for this place!

3 nights at Wise Oak Farm

This was such a sweet New Year's glamping trip! The tiny houses are great for a group, especially folks staying COVID-conscious, and the heat was very welcome in the winter! We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and herb garden.

Weekend Trip to New Carpati Farm

I stayed one night in the birdhouse. I arrived at night and instructions for parking and illuminated pathway to the birds nest were straight forward and easy to follow. The views of the pasture in the morning (and at night) were gorgeous. It feels very private on the edge of the property. Will definitely visit again if I am in the area. Highly recommended.

Beautiful country, sweet cabin, extra cozy bed, well stocked kitchen. It feels like a real, cared for place and not another sterile vacation house. We were there for Christmas with our family of four and it was a perfect trip. Bon was responsive and very kind.

Weekend Trip to New Carpati Farm

This place was great. It was easy to walk to from the car but still felt private with a nice view. It was absolutely pouring that night so walking to the composting toilet was unpleasant but it would have been no problem if it was not raining. Inside was warm and comfy.

The Birdhouse was cozy, quaint, and private with a spectacular view. It provided me the perfect home base to chill, work, and access the area's many jewels.

3 nights at Coastal Ridge Cabin

Coastal Ridge Cabin is an incredible oasis that truly provides an “into the out” experience. Bon’s impressive ability to upcycle the entire cabin and its surroundings is incredible and creates a one of a kind place to stay. The cabin has everything you need for a cozy getaway. The cabin is nestled in a private location with beautiful surroundings with and even has hiking trails right on the property to explore! The bed was super comfy and the wood burning sauna is a lovely touch that we were very appreciative of during the colder evenings. We hope to return again to this little slice of coastal heaven!

We had so much fun at the birdhouse! We wanted a last-minute trip and niko was totally accomodating. The cabin itself is thoughtfully arranged and very cute, stars are very visible through the big window at night. Lots to love about the birdhouse and would stay again.

Currently we have a dozen chickens, 30+ fruit trees, and cows pasturing in the main field. The location is fantastic for exploring the area. In the middle of wine country, it's only a thirty minute drive to the coast or to the redwoods, and one hour from San Francisco. Plus easy access to the bike path leading to both Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. Weather issues: The tiny house has heating but no AC, which is not normally an issue unless daytime temperatures are in the mid 90s or higher. Summer nighttime temps are usually in the 50s and the space cools rapidly with windows open. The rec room has both heating and AC, which can be slept in in the case of extreme temperatures. In the winter, heavy rainfall can make the stay unpleasant as you need to move outside frequently between buildings.
