Romantic RV camping near Cloverdale

What a gem in the heart of the forest yet 15 minutes from all you need to glam it up at the Pickle Barrel. The view is lovely, the pot belly stove is amazing, and being tucked away in the woods is what we all need to reset. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful Mendo coast and retreating to the campsite after long days. The composting toilet is incredible - no smell, easy to use, and convenient.

Exactly as presented. Sweet little cabin with electricity. The mattress was really comfortable. Outdoor fire pit and tables. Compost toilet was odor free. Less than 15 mins to Point Arena and Gualala. Hope to be back.

Beautiful quiet spot next to the stream. Would be a bit loud with someone next to you but was perfect on a weeknight.

Weekend Trip to Locus Solus

Wonderful stay with our 2 daughters & puppy. Plenty places to see for a hike or ocean, within 15-25 minutes range. Stayed at Redwood Treat cabin, very comfy. Love it

The cabin was awesome! It was raining all night but cozy in the cabin. Would recommend!

Weekend Trip to Finley Camp

We enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. Nathan does a great job at communicating and is very flexible to meet your needs. He’s an excellent host. The cabin is cozy with enough space for a couple to sleep and have room for your belongings. There’s a heater that you can set on different levels to keep the room at the temperature you’d like, especially when it gets cold. The communal area areas are nice as well.

Daniel’s land was a great escape for a quick night of camping. I was on lot 9 and felt that I had tons of privacy. There was another camp space on the other side of the road but it was far enough away that I felt the camp space was private. Great stay and would definitely go back

We really enjoyed the cabin. It had pretty much everything you could need. Our dog was comfortable too. Well insulated and stayed pretty warm overnight even with the fire dying out around 12.

Weekend Trip to Salmon Creek Ranch

The campsite was fantastic! It was secluded, clean, and John was nice enough to let our group borrow a pot to use to cook chili! This campsite is great for larger groups as you can reserve more than one campsite. The meadow was great for stargazing and other activities. The trails were nice and had lots of wildlife. I would definitely recommend this campsite and would love to return sometime in the future.

This was a lovely stay! The host was so accommodating! The property was very beautiful and I absolutely loved the kitchen and bath house. I would recommend this as a great place to stay near Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

Weekend Trip to The Oak Show

Bittersweet leaving a review, it’s so good I don’t want to share! However, it is the best Hipcamp I have been to in years and deserves its recognition. Instructions were clear, gate code included was correct and it was clearly marked where to go for the cabin. Property was immaculate and the secondary RV site was so far away we could not see it from the main road, huge props. Fire was roaring when we got there and was so nice and warm. Cabin had everything you will need: pots, pans, coffee maker, forks spoons, sharp kitchen knife, drying rack, cutting board, coffee cups. Stacked. Bed was great. Freshly laundered and clean. Included was towels ( didn’t use because brought our own). Stove was a relic but in great condition and allowed us to cook a great meal. Outside deck is cool, little too cold to use. Outside is a private meadow that looks over a stunning private valley that is worth the price of admission on its own. Upper part has a fire pit and a sink with electrical hookups if needed. Really unbelievable as far as a remote property. Water was clean and tasted great. Communication on point. Bathroom is great and hot water was hot for a shower. Nothing was amiss and it shows that this place is a place of pride to enjoy. 10/10 and stands head and shoulders above Hipcamps.

This cabin is super cozy and has everything you need for a fun getaway. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, and there are also some great restaurants nearby. The property is private and feels really safe, and the host was super friendly and helpful.

We loved this cozy lil cabin and would definitely visit again! There's lot of fun restaurants and shops to visit near by and though we couldn't enjoy the hiking options on this trip, seems like there is plenty around!
