The cabin was amazing the ambience and the functionality of the cabin was better than ever expected! The outdoor kitchen was very useful and they provide everything you’d need! they gave us extra wood for the fire, and even fixing the water heater when it ran out of battery! Overall the stay was amazing and decently plan to stay again!

The cabin felt very homey. The scenery was very pleasant and peaceful. Ted and Emily were attentive and put together some recommendations for cool places to visit. When I went, it was raining (which was awesome), and plenty of wood was provided! 10/10 would come again.

Easy to find; clean; magical; cozy; secluded. This space was so sweet, cozy, and calm for a few-nights' stay! It was secluded, but also felt safe with neighbors nearby. The porta-potty was one of the cleanest I've seen, and the outdoor shower is perfect. It was very nice to have the heater and dehumidifier provided, as well!

Lovely stay! Such a cute little cabin. Wonderful outdoor kitchen. Saw some cute banana slugs. Super convenient to town and easy enough to get to the redwoods which was why we were there. Ted and Emily were super communicative and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely return and would absolutely recommend. Thanks Ted and Emily!

Awesome cabin! Very nice cozy ambiance, especially in the evening and at night. We enjoyed the cabin just as much as we enjoyed exploring the redwoods. Wood stove is great, holds heat and burns pretty slow once it gets going and is tamped down low.

If you're looking for a cozy spot in the eureka/arcata area to rest when youre hiking in the redwoods, this is the place! It's such a cute little cabin with a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, toilet, and a hot shower🚿👌🏾, the perfect spot for couples. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating as well!

Very clean and well maintained. Nice little extras like cute log stools around campfire, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in showers, fish cleaning station. Long RV sites. Decent WiFi.

This was my second time at Ted & Emily's cabin, and I had another sweet stay! They are super hosts, and the cabin and land are gorgeous. Not to mention the lovely chorus of frogs at night! Thank you for another wonderful stay.

Camp Trinidad was the perfect getaway for a few relaxing days near the 101 and the coast. The owners are incredibly welcoming and down-to-earth - they really go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic experience without ever being intrusive. The entire camp is spotless and well-maintained, and it’s clear a lot of effort has gone into recent upgrades, with even more improvements on the horizon. The hot tub on-site was a great bonus, and I truly appreciated all the thoughtful little touches that made my stay even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

2 nights at The Fairy Forest

Yes! This is the cabin you want to visit - I can only explain it by saying that it feels good there; you can tell it was made with intention and love. Ted and Emily provide everything you need to be comfy - outdoor kitchen area with the essentials, wood burning stove inside the cabin to keep warm and provide ambiance (firewood provided), and one of my fav things - an outdoor shower w/hot water. It rained during our stay, but we weren’t “stuck inside” the cabin because there’s an outside walkway/porch area that is covered which allowed us to still be outside. There’s a bistro set where you can sit to eat a meal, a chair with a foot rest inside to read and relax. There’s a hook to hang your coats and a bar to hang something like a wet towel. One “wall” is made from paneled windows and is able to open wide for an airy feel if that’s what you want. Honestly, I want to live there - I was sad when it was time to go. My husband who usually doesn’t care about the things I described, enjoyed it as much as I did and commented several times about how wonderful it is. The hosts were friendly and responsive all while giving us space and privacy. 20 out of 10, 10 stars out of 5, A ++.

Had a lovely trip hosted by Kimberly. Got to unwind in nature and enjoy the warm and cozy glamping tent and it was the perfect basecamp for adventures in the redwoods.

Dreamy little spot, very cozy and sweet. Loved hearing the frog choir at night and waking up in the alders in the rain. Perfect way to celebrate a belated birthday. Feeling very recharged and inspired.

We loved our stay! It was cute, cozy, and very clean. Directions to the cabin were clear and easy to follow. We fell asleep to the croaking of frogs nearby and the warmth and sounds of crackling wood from the burner inside, truly a peaceful experience. We would definitely recommend booking your stay at the little glass cabin !

1 night at Bayside Cabin

Absolutely loved and enjoyed Ted and Emily’s place. The instructions to start the wood stove were spot on and helped me stayed cozy for the night. The outdoor kitchen had everything I needed to make a simple meal and the bathroom on the outside (attached to the cabin) was a nice touch too. I definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay while exploring the Redwoods.

Very cute place to stay . Very clean and warm with the heater going . Just make sure you plug the heater into the big plug behind ac unit otherwise will keep tripping . No place to cook however and only a bed and mirror and table . Toilet needs a light inside . Didn’t see any shower but was probably me not looking properly . Overall close to Trinidad and very sweet . Didn’t see any water .
