Desert Reset Retreat - Great Views

Secluded romantic, tranquil, peaceful desert get-away. Ten private acres with amazing views in all directions. No power lines obstruct the views. While our property encompasses 10 acres, 2 rings of 10-acre parcels that surround us are undeveloped desert landscape, so it feels like you are in the middle of 200 acres, with expansive views. Relax in style and take a load off in one of our two spacious glamping tents and enjoy the serenity and peace of nature and the magic desert energy at this green off-grid property. Cook dinner in the outdoor kitchen, or enjoy sunsets with a glass of wine or a beer in comfortable outdoor chairs and sleep in a super comfy airbed on a cloud of soft pillows. Stargazing and exciting adventures await in the nearby vibrant artist town of Joshua Tree and the world-famous Joshua Tree National Park. There is a bathhouse with a solar shower and composting toilet. We are hooked up to city water, so there is a faucet where you can refill your water jug or the solar shower bag. Other things to note: You can get water at the southeast side of the property. Fires are only allowed if you have plenty of water next to it, and are strictly forbidden per county regulations if there is ANY wind/breeze. If you have your heart set on making a fire on a windy night, we do have a backup option, we have a propane fire ring for rent, please refer to the 'extras' section. Propane fire pits don't fall under the same wind regulations because they don't create embers. There is only one propane fire ring available for both sites on a first come basis. Our stoves and heaters use a 1-pound propane bottle (the green one). We no longer provide complementary propane bottles, but there are several places in town where you can get them and we do have them for sale. Our check in is on or after 4 pm. Our check out is before 11 am. .

We do offer private chefs and our personal "Project DinnerClub" cooking experiences on site so you never have to leave or drive anywhere. (when available) Anything from Outdoor Wood Fired Pizza Ovens, Farm to Table Organic Mediterranean Cuisine, and Breakfast on the Bistro deck. Please inquire about Dining optional experiences. As of January 2025 we had an incident that put us out for nearly a month and had to repair and replace items in the dome to get back to bookings. There’s 5 acres, partly shaded by old mesquite trees and native Washingtonia palms that tower over rock lined paths. I recently fixed up our old 1949 tear drop camper for staying in after it had been abandoned for 30 years. It’s equipped with solar power, a gas burner, a pump sink, and a cooler. This is a place for people that love old stuff! No marble countertops and stainless steel will be found. For lovers of the funky. There’s an outhouse, an outdoor shower, and a 9 foot deep swimming pool too. We’re situated between the San Andreas fault and the the Little San Bernardino Mountains, so spectacular hikes are a short walk away. When the wind dies down the campfire begins and the stars do not disappoint.
