What a gorgeous and special place! The rooms are beautifully designed with endless interesting anrt and books to check out. The hot tub with a view is the perfect way to unwind, and I was lucky enough to hear great horned owls at night. Coffee and breakfast in the morning were an unexpected and lovely treat. Absolutely great place to stay!

Weekend Trip to Two Rock Country Farm Stay

I intended to stay for 2 nights, it turned to be 4 nights instead. I didn't want to leave this experience and return to the busy world. Life here was exactly what I was looking for.. serene, comfortable, quiet, feel safe, driving from the city was easy. Hosts were kind, responsive and respectful. I enjoyed everything about it. The RV was comfortable, I had everything I needed to make morning coffee, stove to cook, BBQ grill if I wanted to. My dog loved having a wide open space where he can run and explore. I love sitting by the pond and enjoy the firepit. I love fresh eggs less than 24 hours old from Debra's farm. I also got duck eggs and goose egg. The whole experience was awesome. I definitely will come back again. I felt comfortable, safe and relaxing. Thanks to Debra and her husband. For us it was just 2 humans and 1 dog but I can see it can be for a family with 2 kids.

We had an amazing time! The place is peaceful with stunning views all around. The Antic Room is absolutely gorgeous, and the bathroom feels like its own little art gallery—such a unique and beautiful space where you can also just hang out and relax. The hot tub is perfectly placed to soak in the surrounding nature, and at night, you can enjoy the stars from there—truly magical. Bill was super helpful and kind, and waking up to delicious coffee, fresh fruits, and cake was such a lovely touch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Layna is an absolute wonder! Her land is truly beautiful and a little treasure up in the mountains. What a beautiful experience it was to camp where art meets nature. She has created a unique space and I am so grateful we got to share in it for a little moment. My favorite part is the outdoor dining hall that overlooked everything. Weekend Trip to Delta Respite

Such a tranquil place for me and my dog to refresh and rejuvenate from burnout and do nothing. You can see and hear different birds from treetops to ground floor-owls, blackbirds, chickens and roosters. I have a harmless bird dog vizsla lab mix and he loved it so much. The chirping was very Snow White and relaxing to hear. We even got the chance to meet Winnie the pig who was so super sweet. We left the back gate and were able to walk and collect our thoughts as we bird watched and enjoyed the view of Mount Diablo in the distance. The perfect do nothing place! I wish we stayed an extra day longer. It was cozy for me and my dog. The hosts were lovely, inviting, kind, and friendly. My dog loved their dogs.

Weekend Trip to Estero San Antonio Wonderland

The camper was in a very peaceful, beautiful spot! The amenities at the farm stand were fantastic. The color of the egg shells were so pretty and the yolks were a deep orange. I would definitely stay here again, it’s close to a lot of great places and I appreciate the philosophy of the farmers (regenerative grazing, hedgerows, integrated pest management).

Weekend Trip to Wise Oak Farm

The tiny house is well-built with all the basics you need. The heat worked perfectly (I was here in March with cool, rainy weather). My visit was short, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sonoma County. It's in a great location to visit the coast, the redwoods, the wineries, or just bounce around from town to town. They even have a few nice little recommended itineraries to get you started on your adventures.

Weekend Trip to Two Rock Country Farm Stay

Peaceful, relaxing, and cozy are words to describe Debra’s amazing place. My wife and I stayed with our dogs for a quiet weekend getaway. During our stay we had so many options whether it was cooking indoors or outdoors, fishing all day (caught a good sized fish even in the winter), or just sitting with a book to relax and listen to the birds and animals by the fire. Debra kept the camper warm for our arrival and made sure everything was well stocked. We enjoyed every second and we would recommend Debra’s place any time!

Weekend Trip to Glynraven Gardens

This stay was amazing! We arrived late, after dark but we were greeted with enthusiasm and given the choice of where to stay on the property. It was lovely to wake up to the sunrise over the valley and walk around the property, looking at all the interesting collections and statues. It was really a place of beauty and creative energy. We so enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at night and looking up at the stars, and collecting eggs in the morning for breakfast. What a relaxing experience. Clark (Antler) was kind, hospitable and responsive. I would definitely return again.

Camp with sweeping views of beautiful pastureland in West Marin. Enjoy privacy, birds singing, cows, chickens, food from the farm, and hiking our gorgeous land that is on the Estero San Antonio. The campsites are spaced far apart from one another to ensure some privacy. It is very quiet out here at night. If there are other campers you might hear them in the distance. All campsite are located overlooking the Estero and close to the grass road to enter and exit the property. You will have access to some of our pastures for picnics and leisurely walks. When you check in we will give you directions to a few special places around the surrounding area and see if you would like some grassland finished beef, lamb, pork, eggs, or vegetables all grown or made on our ranch. We offer other care packages, ask us when you arrive (include, home made focaccia, sourdough bread, local cheeses, etc...) A liability waiver will be needed to be signed. This is primitive camping, There is water but it is not potable. so bring your own drinking water. It can get very windy out here in Spring and Summer. Come prepared. We have situated the campsites to be on the leeward side and as protected as possible. We try to leave the land better off than we found it and hope that you will share the same respect for the pristine beauty of this place. We are 10 minutes away from the quaint town of Tomale and 15 minutes from the town of Valley Ford. Dillon Beach is only 3.5 miles away. The stay area consists of four buildings, the main one being a super cozy tiny house built on a 16' trailer, filled with custom woodwork and unique details. It sleeps up to four and has a kitchen (sink, microwave/oven, mini fridge, and propane stove) and small dining area. Immediately adjacent is a luxury "outhouse" with full sized hot shower and a composting toilet. There is an additional converted farm shed with a pull out couch and TV to relax comfortably indoors (the "rec room"). The outdoor area consists of a breakfast patio and large barn with couches and dining table. We are just starting to develop the property as a working farm. In the middle of wine country, it's only a thirty minute drive to the coast or to the redwoods, and one hour from San Francisco. Plus easy access to the bike path leading to both Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. Weather issues: The tiny house has heating but no AC, which is not normally an issue unless daytime temperatures are in the mid 90s or higher. Summer nighttime temps are usually in the 50s and the space cools rapidly with windows open. The rec room has both heating and AC, which can be slept in in the case of extreme temperatures. In the winter, heavy rainfall can make the stay unpleasant as you need to move outside frequently between buildings.

On Berryessa’s northwestern shore, at the mouth of Putah Creek Canyon, the Putah Canyon Campground offers a boat launch and nearly 100 lakeview campsites for tents, RVs, trailers, and groups, with picnic tables, barbecue grills, water, and toilets. Further south on a peninsula, the Spanish Flat Campground offers 55 campsites for tents, RVs, and trailers, with picnic tables, barbecue pits, piped water, and toilets. The Spanish Flat Village Center offers stores, a deli, and a museum nearby.

South Shore

On the southwestern end, the Steele Canyon Campground offers a boat launch and 84 campsites for tents, RVs, and trailers. At the southern end, Pleasure Cove Campground is the largest around the lake with 140 tent, RV, and trailer campsites. Part of the Pleasure Cove Marina, amenities are plentiful and include flush toilets, boat rentals, cabin rentals, and a boat launch.

Within 30 miles of Lake Berryessa are several other camping options. Southeast of the lake, Lake Solano Park offers creekside camping, a seasonal pool, and a long, narrow lake ideal for non-motorized boating. To the north, Lower Hunting Creek offers a small campground on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land near several OHV trails. West of the lake, Bothe-Napa Valley State Park features a Redwood campground. Southwest of Napa, Skyline Wilderness Park offers tent, RV, and equestrian sites and trails.
