Weekend Trip to Mineral Spring Date Farm

we had a great stay on the date farm! it was well maintained and made for a really easy trip. our site was really cute, we loved the tub and could easily adjust the temperature.

2 nights at Mineral Spring Date Farm

Was an amazing experience for the whole family. The kids loved the hot tubs and seeing the goats was so magical at night walking around plenty of space. Being able to wash our camp dishes in a sink was a special treat. The house are kind and welcoming. This is a space we enjoyed connecting with fellow travelers as well as quality time with family and the date palms which sheltered us from the wind and provided shade and ambiance creating the perfect camping home. We loved that Sam’s which is a family friendly day pool spot was walkable/bikeable, we had a great day there. Im excited to come back and see what Ronald continues to create with the space. The dates are delicious too, be sure to get a pack!

Weekend Trip to Cee Cee's Five Acre Chill Spot

Celeste’s place is such a beautiful, calm, and full of cute and lovely spots to shoot some pictures. Celeste is THE host, making us feel so welcomed, and always making sure that we have everything we could possible need. Everything was clean, and delicious food. We would for sure try to come back and stay at Celeste’s place soon.

Weekend Trip to 6+ Acres near Joshua Tree NP

The Lotus Tent was such an amazing experience! The host really thought of every little detail. We got there late at night after a long drive and were welcomed by a well lit path to the tent. The bed was super comfy and the fridge was packed with cold waters, drinks, coffee creamers, and all kinds of other thoughtful little amenities. I absolutely loved the little fire pit and outdoor couch set up. My boyfriend and I loved hanging out by the fire and stargazing at night. My boyfriend is a wildlife biologist and was in love with the kangaroo rats that we saw around the site. It’s really close to Joshua tree national park! We went to the farmers market in Joshua tree and spent the day hiking at the park. It was such a fun and memorable experience. I highly recommend this glamping site!!

Super enjoyable and unique camping experience. Lots of distance between sites and the palm trees made it feel very secluded. Tubs were great and easy to use. Ramen was a treat as well. Great hosts!

We had the best time at our sight. Met a lot of great people while we were there and Ronald and his wife were fun to talk to. Ronald gave us a lesson on growing dates which was very interesting. Everything one would need to camp out was there so it made it so much easier on us (non campers). Lol

The kids and I had a great time. The Ramen and the dates were absolutely delicious! The yurt was very spacious and had air conditioning-the mineral spring tub was refreshing after a long day. Little bunnies hopping everywhere….adorable. Very dreamlike setting- thank you Ron, please tell your wife “we miss your ramen!” Will be back!!

This spot was everything plus some that we have asked for!!!! Our little family had such a great time! Everything we needed was provided, Ronald was super friendly and knowledgeable about the farm, w fast communication. The Ramen was to die for, the tent w A/C was awesome. Super comfy beds, the natural spring tub/hole was such a treat! Very private and the fire w stargazing at night was the cherry on top! Bathroom and shower (shared) but clean and kitchen w morning coffee provided. We not only highly recommend but will def be back!

The grounds are stunning, beautiful glamping experience. Was very relaxing! The bedding and interiors of the yurt/ tent were also very comfortable. Hoping to return again!

Can not recommend this place enough. Ron was so nice, everything worked great, and the dates were awesome. I will be back multiple times! I told all my friends about it Only recommendation I have, the hot springs water comes out of the heater at around 110 degrees (not hot not cold). If you want hot hot water, bring a pot to boil water over the fire to pour into the tub.

The Hideout was perfect for my family of 4 this weekend! Janna is lovely and communicated really well. The site has so many great amenities, including many places to build a fire, a pool table, horseshoes, a place to grill, an outdoor shower, and more. The beds in the tent were super comfortable with plenty of blankets. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Joshua Tree.

The date farm is such a unique place! We really enjoyed our one night trip there and used the hot spring pool twice which was a really great way to end the night and also start the following day. The beds in the tent were super comfortable, and we slept well although the tent did get quite warm once the sun started rising, which is to be expected while you’re in the desert during the warmer seasons. The farm property itself is really beautiful, although my only point of criticism would be that it looks like it could use a little bit of love in the cleanup department like trash near the entrance needing to go to the dump and building a stable platform around the tub. Those small details aside I’d still love to camp there again and would highly recommend this unique experience.

We loved staying on Ronald’s land! Very cool and educational experience. Ronald took time to show and explain to us how dates reproduce. Their Dates are absolutely delicious, as was the home made ramen (absolutely exceptional!). The camping and property was nice. The spring near our campsite (on-site bell tent) was amazing and refreshing after several days on the road. We will definitely head back for the dates, ramen, spring soaking and Great hospitality. If you consider yourself to be someone who likes a good soak, this is a great spot.

1 night at Mineral Spring Date Farm

There were some pros and cons to our stay. Overall I'd recommend staying here for the main fact that each campsite has it's own hot springs tub it's relatively cozy and private. It's like an oasis, so expect slight city noise. I wouldn't recommend staying at any of the sites that are for RV's/Vans because those campgrounds aren't as nice as the the others -we had a van so the price was cheaper, but the savings weren't worth it. The spot was peppered with small palm trees that made it difficult to walk around without getting poked (Site #6). And the tent was skimpy. We asked Ron if there were any other spots and he allowed us to stay in one of the nicer sites (site #12) and that was 100x better. There was more space to move, and the tent (mini yurt) was decked out like a comfy bedroom. We didn't get to use the tent bc we didn't pay for it, but we had the van so we were fine. Ron let us have electricity for $10. I also pre-ordered the ramen, firewood, and dates. I didn't care for the kimchee ramen personally (I normally love ramen, but the pork was just fat and gristle), and the dates were rock hard. I also had to ask the host for my pre-ordered items, which was a minor annoyance. Lastly, we got lost on our way there bc Apple Maps had us turn down the wrong road. I could tell Ron was annoyed with us and he even scolded us a little when we arrived. That was also annoying. He made up for it when he gave me a mini tour of the palms while I waited for my ramen.

It is an awesome experience, even in very windy conditions! Each site has its personality and is nestled in the date palms! Ronald was very accommodating too!

Awesome land. In the middle of everything! Saw joshua tree NP, Salton Sea, snowy mountain tops and Palm Springs all in one weekend trip. Sites are super cozy and you feel like you are in a tropical wilderness. Plus.. HOT SPRING TUBS! Top it off with some of the most delicious medjools I’ve ever had! 1000% recommend! Couples and family friendly spot!

Weekend Trip to Mineral Spring Date Farm

Ron and the land and the land design were all amazing! He was so kind, helpful and calming. The entire site felt so isolated and private, while providing a sense of safety and peace. The hot spring tub was exactly what I needed. The bed in the yurt was comfortable and allowed for great sleep and relaxation. I work extremely long hours and this mini getaway helped me replenish and find peace and much needed solitude.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying on Ron’s and Grace property. It was romantic to be in the mineral springs surround by date trees. Very private. The Yurt was cozy and warm. The view was beautiful! We will be back. Thank you!
