Tree house magic (Pal) was full of life in so many ways! We went during the winter in December and it was amazing with different sources of heat thought the house! The tree house was perfectly warm and cozy. Truly a place you can make yourself at home. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. If you have dogs this place is great, as we brought 2 dogs, dachshund and pit bull. Plenty of space and entertainment with great views. I cannot speak any more highly about this place, as I wish we could have stayed longer than 4 nights. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10 gnomes!

This place was absolutely amazing. Whether you enjoy being inside or out this is a place for you. If you go in the winter like I did, there are propane heaters or fire pits no matter the area you want be in. The stars also where simply amazing. Great stay would definitely recommend.

4 nights at Peak Meadow Forest Ranch

Our stay at Bob’s cabin was amazing! He was attentive to every detail, from chopping us some firewood, to messaging us the morning of our arrival to provide clear instructions on how to get to the property, as well as giving recommendations on attractions in the area. the property was very clean, well attended and close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to feel secluded. the listing does say that there is both a jacuzzi tub and a hot tub, however there is only a jacuzzi tub inside, which was more than enough for us! the area was absolutely breathtaking and we look forward to returning one day! Bob was an amazing host and we definitely recommend this stay!

When I arrived, Brooke greeted me and she was so friendly and welcoming. I brought my dog and she LOVED the freedom of wandering the property … so many places to explore! My specific reason for the visit was to catch the meteor shower and this location didn’t disappoint … wide open skies w perfect viewing of the shooting stars! Thank you for hosting us!

3 nights at The Milky Way Cabin

We loved our stay at The Milky Way Cabin for a quiet Thanksgiving getaway! In fact, there was a new moon and we were definitely in the height of stars!! Raemi is a wonderful host and has great taste in her tiny home design. We enjoyed new snow and sat on the deck in the morning sun drinking coffee and watching the wildlife saunter through the property. We also enjoyed taking walks along the roads around the property and met nice neighbors along the way. The website has all the info you need to operate the solar and generator and other systems at the house. Advice…Take the time to learn and understand the systems and your stay will be easier. The internet is lightning fast if that is something you need/like. We enjoyed visiting the Evergreen Station (Clover Custom Crafts is part of the building and Ardell is the owner and she carries local artisans goods) just south of Florissant and driving into Cripple Creek and Victor. Rita The Rock Pusher Troll is an absolute “must see” in Victor. Lovely property and overall excellent experience!!

Weekend Trip to The Milky Way Cabin

Amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, yet quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful touches like in decorations, local recommendations and anything we might need in the kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!!

Treehouse Magic sits on an 80-acre horse ranch 6476 feet above Sealevel (+ 20 feet for the treehouse!!) Built by hand, with love, and a little help from our friends over a 4-year period. Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine. This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Cabana room in the "pop-up" tent and cots! We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature! Every detail was thought of. A MUST-TRY EXPERIENCE! *Absolutely NO candles or open fires, please!! There is a propane firepit. Maximum of 2 dogs. $40 per dog. Additional rules apply for dog guests and must be cleared with the host prior. Please pick up after your dogs, there are poo-poo bags provided in Treehouse. Disconnect and relax at our custom-built tiny house nestled against a grove of Aspen trees. This 100% solar-powered and self-sustaining cabin is situated on 2 acres at 9300 feet above sea level, accessible via a scenic 13-mile drive on dirt roads off Hwy 24 in Florissant, Colorado. *No running water October 15 through May 15 *Composting toilet *No well. Bring your own water to put in the tank under the sink. 5 gallons per day per person is recommended. We are 100% OFF GRID and do not have septic system or well. In the summer, bring your own water (a couple of 5 gallon jugs from Home Depot is usually enough for one night if you don't use the shower) Visit our website at www.themilkywaycabin.com for details before making a booking request. There are two lofts. One has a queen bed and the other has two twin mattresses made of foam that fold in to chairs. Bring sheets and blankets. The kitchen table is flat against the wall and folds down when needed. Turn and pull out the lever on top release the table. There is a stool under the stairs and the box in the corner was designed to be used as a seat/ottoman. Lay out a blanket on the brand new deck and bring binoculars or use our telescope (available in the summer only) and stargaze! Lots of things to do including hiking, paddle boarding, fishing in the summer at 11 Mile Reservoir. Go snow shoeing, rent a Polaris in Woodland Park, or snowmobiling in Buena Vista. Eleven Mile Reservoir is just a few minutes away by car. Detailed arrival and departure instructions are on our website. You will receive a password to login to a private web page upon booking. This will help you with how to use the unique systems in the cabin. You must agree to read it thoroughly before your arrival. We do not charge a cleaning fee and kindly urge that you leave it cleaner than you found it. If we have to clean up after you in any way, you will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.
