We are a new family farm 10 minutes from Lyons, Colorado, on 15 acres of rolling natural grasslands with red sandstone cliffs and stunning views of Long's Peak and the surrounding mountains and foothills along the Little Thompson River. We raise pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, chicken, turkeys, ducks and geese, and grow delicious organic vegetables. We have a dog kennel if you would like to explore nearby Rocky Mountain National Park and need a safe place for your canine companion. This suburban campground is conveniently located along US 287 close to Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Erie, and Louisville. The neighborhood is a quiet and charming area with the feel of a much more rural area. Each campsite features a flat turf pad camp area to set up table, chairs, etc and plenty of room to pull in your car, van, or other camping vehicle. We offer an on site toilet (port-a-potty), standard 110v (20 amp) electrical plugs at each site. Please note that this is a standard home outlet meant for things like charge phones. If your rig pulls more than 20 amps you are likely to trip the breaker, which is not accessible for reset by guests. There is access to fresh, potable water on the property, but not at each site, so plan to fill your tanks at the spigot with a hose. Wi-Fi is available at the campground. Nearby Erie and Lafayette are within biking distance. This campground is located in a residential neighborhood and we ask that campers are respectful of noise levels. No fires permitted. There is a barn located on the property within the campsite. The campsite is located behind a residential home, but separated by a 6 foot privacy fence. WE DO NOT LIVE IN THE HOUSE, PLEASE DO NOT RING THE DOORBELL OR CONTACT THE TENANTS IN THIS HOME! All requests should be made through the Hipcamp app for the quickest response.

This is a wonderful spot to fuel up or refuel after your grand Colorado adventure. I am one house west of the local grocery, hardware and pet stores, as well as catty-corner from Me Oh My Pie (delicious bakery and cafe), The Swing Station (Live Music & bar), and just one minute down the road from Vern's (cinnamon rolls and chicken friend steak!!). I also sit at the end of the Poudre Trail, a 21-mile paved recreation trail that follows the river down to Greely, CO. There is a loop in the driveway for turning around.

Our home is conveniently located approximately 35 minutes from downtown Boulder or Nederland, 45 minutes from Eldora for skiing enthusiasts, 25 minutes from the Longs Peak Trailhead, and 45 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.

We are a Full Grass, 6-acre campground at the base of Rabbit Mountain. The Little Thompson River runs through the property and is wonderful to take a dip in. Carter Lake is only a 5-minute drive away. 20 Minutes away from Longmont Colorado is far enough away that you can escape from the city but close enough to be able to run into town if you need anything. As long as you are by your post, we don't care how you park, pull in, back in, pull through, we are easy going. Be aware this is a Rustic experience.
