The Little Cabin offers a mountainside basecamp, getaway, vacation or over night travel stop 30 miles from LARAMIE, WY, I80, WY 130, US 287 and Co 125. 2.5 miles from Woodslanding on WY 230. Depending on the time of year there are various outdoor activities nearby to enjoy. Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing. There are Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, Snowy Range Down Hill Ski Area all with in a 60 mile radius. There is public access to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs along side it. Saratoga, WY, natural Hot Springs are about 90 miles West and makes for a beautiful drive. Snowy Range Mountain offers a down hill ski area, trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Star gazing from the Little Cabin or Gazebo is amazing. There is no light pollution which allows a view of the stars some have never seen.

We are located 4 miles from Routt National Forest. You'll arrive at the ranch headquarters and we will either take you to the sheep wagon or give you directions to it. The sheep wagon is nestled in an Aspen grove (on 56 acres) with a creek just 12 feet away. From there, you are 1/4 mile away from the national forest and the wilderness. There are thousands of acres to explore, either by hiking , biking or horseback riding. You are also just minutes away from great trout fishing lakes and streams. While here ask about ranch tours and visiting with our sheep, horses, cows and chickens! There will be cattle or sheep on the property with the sheep wagon. Please note that cell phone service is very limited in the area.

Brand new fire pit, covered porch with a beautiful view of the mountains, and a large private deck. You will love the large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, so leave the paper plates at home! A cozy living area with a wood stove & 3 large windows to view the mountains & lake. Great outdoor space with a porch and deck on 3 sides of the property. 1/2 block to public access to the lake and snowmobile access for ice fishing in the winter. 1/2 block to Beacon Marina that has bait and fishing license and boat rentals. You can access the lake with your Kayaks here as well. Large out door fire pit for your enjoyment. There is fishing, skiing, golfing, snowmobile riding along with plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The best and closest restaurant and bar is the Roadhouse Bar and Grill which is a 1/2 mile away, you can enjoy good food without going all the way into town. They have the best Country fried chicken and steak on Friday and crab legs on Saturday! If you are down to earth and just want to have a good time you'll love this place!! Dishwasher in the kitchen and we do have to pack out the trash so please use the dishwasher and leave the paper plates at home, less trash is better!
