There is also 1 dry camping spot and you can use water and dump on site. There are 35 acres to hike and watch wildlife. We are a short 5 min drive to Lathrop and into Walsenburg. There is a 200 ft elevation hike to enjoy beautiful views of the Spanish Peaks and Cuchara river valley. Be on the look out for elk, deer, turkey and more.

3 acres with stunning views. Learn more about this land: Tremendous views of the Spanish Peaks, LaVeta Pass and surrounding mountains. Located in between LaVeta and Walsenburg there are plenty of activities available. Pets welcome but MUST be on a leash or tie out. This site is outside my 1 acre fenced and secured gated area.  1 vehicle/RV/ tent requiring 110 electricity, 20 AMP SERVICE, camper must provide their own 50'-75' 20 AMP service extension cord, 2 adults at the $35 price. Additional vehicles, guests, or tents will incur additional fees. There are no cities nearby, so star gazing is wonderful. You can see the Milky Way on clear nights. Temps are warm during the summers and tend to drop 30+ degrees at night.
