Weekend Trip to Woodland's Edge Glamping & Hot Tubs
Andrea was a great host to us during our short weekend stay. The space is homey and quiet despite being in a residential neighborhood. We felt safe and alone. I booked this site because of the bathtubs and began to feel very hesitant about it since we had a lot of wind, some rain, and it was exactly warm out. Once the time came to enjoy our soak though, it was soooooo worth it. We cut our stay a little bit short due to a steady increase of critters trying to get out of the rain but none the less had a wonderful time. We spent our days skipping around the local towns and buying everything in sight both edible and not. We’re leaving with full cars and bellies.

Words can’t express the hospitality and love when staying here at Wild Ride! Kenzie and her husband were genuine, easy going, and sooo knowledgeable about all of their rescue horses! Kenzie trains them with a flawless method filled with intuition and true love for her horses! The accommodations were fantastic! I felt like I was in the woods at a cozy retreat in the Netherlands! We stayed on the coldest night of the year (temps in the teens) My only suggestions is bring a really warm sleeping bag bc the dome doesn’t keep the heat for very long. Highly recommend this establishment and i’ll def be back with friends in the future!

My group who stayed at Andrea’s glampsite had such a great time. Andrea was communicative, attentive and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub experience was just magical, and the fire pit was perfect to cook a meal over and gather around. We loved how close this campsite was to town, yet it also felt like a little private getaway from it all. The tent itself was spacious yet cozy. What a special time and space. Highly recommend!

This site is such a magical place! The Fern Gully Sanctuary cabin is adorable and had everything we needed. It got pretty chilly on our second night but Andrea was so kind and brought us some extra blankets to make sure we stayed warm. It was also the perfect mix of wilderness and civilization for an impromptu fall camp trip!

Weekend Trip to Atland Artist Residency
I had such a great time at the cabin! The hosts were great (two women while I was there). Everything was super clean and well thought out, I had brought several things that I ended up not needing to unpack because the little (it is very little…) cabin was so well stocked! The trails on the property are short but awesome, the outdoor shower was great. The outhouse was beautiful and very clean. The Wi-Fi was pretty good and fast, but it was a little bit spotty/in and out. I came to the cabin as a tiny solo writing retreat and spent a lot of time inside and though it small and chilly outside I was very comfortable and cozy! I will say I also saw a few critters in the cabin, nothing to be alarmed about but if you’re opting for a cabin over a tent because outdoor friends are a 100% no for you, you have to remember the cabin is still in the woods 🙃 I felt super safe as a solo woman, with lots of privacy but the main Atland house in view for emergency/peace of mind. Excellent location. Would totally come again.

Our extra large tent can hold a family/friend group of up to 8 comfortably, but is also cozy enough for a couple's getaway. Your private campsite is on the edge of a mixed-wood forest. Deer roam free and you will surely hear the call of coyotes and owls at night. Centrally located within 10 minutes of downtown Amherst, 15 minutes to downtown Northampton, this tent is the perfect base camp to access all that this region has to offer. Flea markets and farmers markets on the weekends, malls, museums and numerous restaurants in the area should you decide to venture out for a bite to eat. Holland Glen, a popular hiking spot with waterfalls and swimming holes is a quick 3-minute drive to the trail head. It is an easy 1-mile ride to the start of the Norwotuck Rail Trail a paved bike path through wetlands and rolling farmland. Or simply stay put, unplug, and relax in one of the hammocks or enjoy our one of a kind wood-fired hot tubs! Our guests are welcome to wander around our little homestead have your coffee in the pollinator patch and watch the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees do their thing. Each tent has a mini fridge, Keurig which comes with a few kcups, cream and sugars to get you started. There is a 24" TV with Alexa firestick and DVD player. We have a large catalog of movies if you'd like to borrow them. There is a small breakfast table for 2 and a 3 drawer dresser that doubles as a night table with a lamp . There is an outlet on each side of the bed for charging phones Outside the tent your area has a gas grill and picnic table, a camp box which contains pots pans, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups and more. A campbox inventory list is posted in the pictures. There is a fire pit with adirondack chairs, sit by the fire and roast Marshmallows we provide everything you need for smores including the sticks. Bath towels and toiletries are provided there is a large shower with dressing room and a deluxe flushable Porta potty with a sink and paper towels on the property. You are welcome to walk the property sit and relax on one of the many benches or chairs or get a game of cornhole going. Guest access New for 2024, 6 person Hot tub and a level 2 EV charger free to all guests. Our Zen Den is stocked with snacks and groceries if you don't want to lug in the food it can be purchased here. There is a price list in the pictures so you can see what we offer.
