We can’t say enough wonderful things about Eric and his hospitality. He had the site set up for us with Adirondack chairs, umbrella, fire pit, and a small table when we arrived. His communication with us was great prior to our arrival and all throughout our stay. The spot is very clean and is nicely set up with water, 30 amp, and sewer. Eric took us on a 3-hour boat trip all around the area on his restored pink boat which was the highlight of our trip. We slept with the doors open on our Class B, and felt completely safe in the area which was quiet and peaceful. The dock has been refurbished and is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved getting to explore Fort Walton Beach on Eric’s recommendations.

What a gem! This place is a water, nature and plant lovers paradise! Launching your kayak (or there a LOTS to borrow) from the property takes it to an entire new level. The fire pit, tiki hut and grounds are great! Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Weeki Watchee! PS - I saw manatee, dolphins, turtles, every bird imaginable when I was there in early April. The trick to be out of the crowds is go up ABOVE Rogers park toward Mud River. I’ve done all of Weeki many times and this was by far my favorite!

site was nice, shaded, and quiet even though it sits on the road in front of her home. Alonda was very responsive and helpful. she offers kayaks, paddle boards and floats to use as well as chairs on her dock for relaxing. the dock is a quick walk to behind the host’s home and sits on a quiet cove. it was a very peaceful stay and we saw a manatee while kayaking. we would definitely stay again!

This was a great place to spend a couple days...more if you're not passing thru like we were. A nice private patio next to the spot gave us enough space to put up our 2' tall fence for the pups. Robert and Sherri were very accommodating, and he provided us with pamphlets about things to do and places to eat in the area. We could not have asked for a better St. Aug area stay! Spot is level and easy to get into and out of. Will ask to stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

On the weekends- Food, music and good time at the lodge/biker bar lol..Pure country living with full hook ups in a great place. . Biker bar, delicious food cooked by another biker to music to quiet times during the week. Never have we met such nice folks, old hippies having a blast.. Great awesome resort. Very clean and lots to do there. We also loved the location. We wanted to stay an extra night and Anthony was able To accommodate us. Everything worked great at the site. Could use a little spruce up though as all the sites around are really neat but it worked out.

Great location that gives a nice sense of privacy. Well maintained. We walked to the beach daily, took our pup on a neighborhood stroll and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. While we did t get to meet Sherri, Robert was very friendly.

We love staying at Rum Runner! We've stayed here before and absolutely love the quiet neighborhood, friendly people and close proximity to our favorite beach. Leila installed wi-fi this year, which worked great! We will definitely come back!

Weekend Trip to Sugar White Sand - St. Joe Beach

Great spot away from the hustle bustle but yet close enough to the beach. Wayne was very accommodating and welcoming. Pet friendly. Campsite offers a fire pit, a picnic table, and an outdoor shower. If there was anything negative to say, it would be that I didn’t really like that. The RV pad is sand. Wayne has pieces of plywood out to step on and also a rug where your door opens, but it still tracks in pretty badly. Other than that, everything was perfect. we will definitely return if we are in the area.

this is a great little place! beautifully landscaped and quiet. very convenient to Sanibel & Fort Myers. rachel was very helpful in getting us in and parked in the right spot. we would definitely stay again!

My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once! GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away. Our pad are very private behind an 11' privacy fence. Each has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as an historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is there along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes 32' and under, Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. Pets are welcome on leash. accompanied by an adult, Each pet is $5. additional fee. There is an off leash park two blocks away. Most of the beaches are also pet friendly. We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. We have a 23' sailboat that we can take up to 6 people on for a peaceful 4 hour sail. You can charter our pontoon boat for as many as 6 people to take you to Crab Island as well as some other spots that only locals know about. We also have a restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. We can also do Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. We can also accommodate up to 2 people on an inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

Howard Creek is located just 20 minutes from the St Joe Bay for saltwater fishing or access to the Gulf of Mexico, 15 minutes from the Intracoastal waterway access at White City, FL and 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, FL. Flat site partially tucked behind some trees and set back 80 feet off of the sand street. Well water hookup, septic capabilities with macerator (lav pump), electric with 30 and 50 amp at the box on the pole (approx. 100 feet from primary parking spot) or 30 amp at the parking spot, corner of pole barn. COLD water shower and sink available. There is a pole barn on the property with our camper stored under it. You're welcome to use the remaining space under the pole barn for your leisure, approximately 20x35 ft. We're dog people! Your dogs are welcome but must supervised while you're away from the property. We have some wonderful neighbors and do not want to disturb them. There are security cameras present on the property. This is a wonderful "Forgotten Coast" region of the Florida panhandle with so much to see and do within minutes. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has worked hard at recovery, with so much rebuilding and growth over the last few years. Howard Creek is an eclectic little fishing community made up of a variety of residents from weekend fishers, summer or winter visitors and full time residents. This little golf cart community offers a small general store, a small community church, a volunteer fire department and two landings to put your boat in. Just 20 minutes from the quaint little beach town of Port Saint Joe, Florida. PSJ is known for its warm, welcoming people, old world Florida feel, dog-friendly beaches, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass.
