1 night at SWFL Everglades Camping

My wife and I were there for a few hours, unfortunately there was a brush fire that was a bit too close for comfort (wife is from Fire country out west). Amanda was very helpful getting info about the fire. Richard is onsite and is a hell of a nice guy, gave us some fruit and fishing advice about the pond on site. It’s remote and very quiet with some good fishing. Would recommend.

5 nights at Tres Lagos Farm & Garden

Our campsite, Vista de Palmas was very nice. We felt secluded by the huge bamboo plants that made our site private. Electrical and water were provided and George had just installed a place to dump, but our 20 feet of sewer hose was about a foot too short. George was very friendly and responsive. Go to Hogbody’s and Lawhon’s grocery store. Both great little businesses. Thank you George!!

Luiz was a gracious host and the campsites were nice and spacious. The lake was very nice to camp next to and there was plenty of shade to set up your tents in. The farm animals were super cute!

Weekend Trip to "R" camp.

My husband and I loved our stay at "R" camp. Craig was attentive and helpful and the land was beautiful, peaceful and secluded. Our covered wagon was spotlessly clean, and I loved the magnetic mosquito net. What a clever idea! A great place for dogs. A great place to get away. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to "R" camp.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Craig's treehouse. He was a gracious host and made sure to answer any questions we had, including making sure we found our way safely to the site. I appreciated that we were allowed use of the propane grill in the main common house. It's decently well-lit at night with solar lights. Great choice for bringing pets too - our one dog loved running around, and the other enjoyed watching safely from the treehouse deck. We'd love to come back with our son next time.

Weekend Trip to SWFL Everglades Camping

Beautiful and peaceful land to camp on. Lots of wildlife and plants. Property owners are very welcoming, nice, and knowledgeable about the land and area.

2 nights at Serenity Acres Glamping Retreat

Everything was perfect, and we lucked out with some cool weather. The tent was large but still cozy. We enjoyed exploring the property, which has lots of large oak trees to lie in the shade and open areas to run around The dog loved being off leash, and my 4 year olds had a great first camping experience. They absolutely loved the swings. Thank you, Aj for providing such a magical experience.

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

His land is a hidden treasure! The grounds are kept nice and it's very pretty to walk around and look at the trees and lake. The sites are spacious and private, and Luiz and his dog Bruno are friendly, accommodating hosts. He has a clean bathroom for guests, and you can walk your dogs on or off a leash. The free roaming horses, Cows, bulls and chickens are a game changer. They are so fun to interact with!

3 nights at SWFL Everglades Camping

This place was awesome! Very unique off grid camping spot beside a lake full of fish and a baby gator. We tent camped here for 3 nights between the fruit trees and I wish we had stayed longer! Richard was kind and helpful and checked in on us a few times gifting us some fresh produce. Very cool spot for stargazing or birdwatching. If you love the real Florida in all it's glory you will love it here. The generator powered hot water for a shower and flushing toilets made it a luxurious camping spot as opposed to a primitive campsite. Chickens were really cute. Some people in their reviews complained about the rooster but if you are used to farm life it does not make any difference to hear the rooster crowing. Lots of wildlife to see and hear throughout the day and night. Very close to Big Cypress Forest and the Everglades both beautiful see them while you still can! Overall a great spot would love to come back in the future.

5 nights at The bohemian cowgirl

We had never stayed at a RV resort before, and I was a little worried about privacy. I was pleasantly surprised that I barley noticed the others around me, it was quite and calm. The owner did a fantasic job with the decor and just setting that zen mood I was hoping for when I booked! We felt like the jacuzzi was private, and really enjoyed sitting in there for the 3 nights we did. The cell service was great there, so I was able to do work when needed. The bed was so comfortable, it was like a cloud after our 27 hour drive from Minnesota. The location was great for intown activities like the rodeo, or a quick 1hr and 30 min drive to Anne Maria to enjoy the beautiful beach there! Overall I would recommend this site to my friends and family and would recommend other hipcampers to consider this as an option. I must also say the owner was very quick to reply and help answer any questions I had. She was very pleasent to work with. Thank you!

Finally a really QUIET place to pitch your tent. Make a fire, admire the stars, enjoy the birds. Beautiful central space. With kitchen. Plenty hot water. Limited electricity (generator), no drinking water. 4 miles dirt road to get there, so bring everything you need with you. Great place if you can live with the minor points mentioned. Recommended !

Had a wonderful 4 night stay while working at a local art show. It was the perfect relaxing place we needed. George & his family made us feel at home & welcomed. We had lovely evenings sitting by the fire-pit star gazing & listening to all the birds.

I sadly didn’t get to stay here, although we did see the site and it looked so lovely by the shady pond. The host had sent some vital check in information through a message on the app, but not included those details in the check in information. As we didn’t have much reception when traveling I had screenshot the check in instructions before she sent the other message. She was very kind to refund us and understanding to the mix up. I would attempt to stay here again when in the area and she said she would update the check in information so hopefully no future confusions. It is a bumpy 2 mile dirt road. Copy and paste the actual address instead of clicking on the app to bring up directions. That took us another 4 extra miles around our elbows on said bumpy road. Good luck and enjoy!

20 nights at Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

We didn’t wanna leave, between the awesome horses, pony, and of course Bruno(campsite dog). We kept a cooler full of apples and carrots for the horses, they will shun you. Bring apples, carrots, please lol Big open ranch, free to explore, our dogs absolutely loved it and really helped their socialism meeting new people and the horses, cows.etc. We originally booked for a week, and decided to stay for two months! Great fishing nearby at the dam, and onsite fishing in the pond. beautiful place and great sunsets

Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others.
