Loved the place! I stayed in the lower area near the pole barn. Lots of nice campers from many different areas. The spot was nice level grass where I set up my tent. The neighbor came over and got a nice bonfire going and many of us campers hung out and enjoyed the heat and conversation. I hope I get an opportunity to come back though the area an stay a few days in the future

I enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space to set a tent up. There is the rooster that was making noise at 4:45 am so just be aware of that! We are relatively early risers anyway. We had some friendly campers next to us that offered us to sit by their fire. Would recommend to anyone looking to go to Foster Falls area. The town is just 10 minutes away if need groceries.

We really enjoyed our time at the farm! The chickens were adorable and their eggs were fantastic. The whole place is beautiful and we will definitely be coming back.

Weekend Trip to Starlight Haven at Weiss Lake

Starlight Haven was a perfect weekend- glamping get away. The view was very pleasant and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed using the grill and sharing our meals on our porch looking at the lake. The place was very clean and cozy. They even had a couple board games stocked. I would highly recommend as a peaceful get away! The team was also responsive. One thing I’ll say is that the domes are relatively close to one- another which was fine with us, but not the most private getaway. Still ample space, and more space than what you would get in a traditional camping setting between sites.

1 night at NW GA Farm Stay

Terrific site - very friendly host. Tidy, quiet, and inviting. We stayed at the water/electric site with a 35’ class A RV. Easy enough to get into, didn’t need to level out. Clean water, 50amp hookup (no 30 amp, so bring an adapter if needed). Grounds were impeccably clean and tidy. Lots of animals, each in their own penned in area. The hosts invited us to go see them, which was fun for us and our child. Very family friendly spot. 10/10, would stay again.

This tiny cabin was exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway! My husband and I recently got remarried to set a new anniversary date, as our original one carried difficult memories. We wanted something simple and relaxing, and this space was perfect—cozy, welcoming, and well-stocked with everything from blankets and cooking essentials to a hair dryer and even shampoo and conditioner for the outdoor shower! Everything was clean and fresh upon arrival, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, offering both heavy and light pillows for those who like options. The porch felt comfortably private while still letting us enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. The string lights at night are such a beautiful touch! The owner, Sunny, was friendly and responsive when I had a question about the outdoor shower. A well-organized binder provided clear instructions for everything (from the cooktop and hot tub spa to the projector and everything else) along with local recommendations. We took a scenic drive to Amicalola Falls, passing several charming apple orchards. Stopping at B.J. Reece Orchards for their famous fried pies was a delicious highlight! We’d highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to escape the busyness of everyday life—especially couples wanting to slow down, be intentional with their time together, and remind themselves why they choose each other every day.

6 nights at Cabin and Barn on 20 Peaceful Acres

This was the perfect spot for my son and I. We were looking for a place close to everything (Cloudland Canyon and Lookout Mountain) and this was perfect. The owner has this place set up perfectly. There is a barn area that has a table and sink/prep area (a lot more technically if you don't bring your own stuff), a rustic cabin with electric and a full open air bathroom with an on demand water heater and normal flush toilet (more posh than we usually go for). Also two fire pit areas, plenty of trees to hang hammocks and if your adventurous on the back of the land is the connector trail to The Moonshine Trails. You could also walk to Lulu Lake if open (which has limited open days which we weren't lucky enough). There is a working horse farm next door as explained and entertaining to watch, but they were no disturbance what-so-ever. For those that are thinking about it, there was also no smell. Saw the owner out there leading some groups, but they were to themselves. The barn cats Lucky and Boo were around each day. My son loved hanging out with them. They were very affectionate. We spent a couple days just relaxing and didn't even leave. So very peaceful! Overall I just loved this place and likely will try to make my way back again.

Such a wonderfully relaxing spot. Lots of room to explore, an absolute baller of a bathhouse. And the two radio collared dogs help make the place feel secure. I'll be back.

3 nights at Starlight Haven at Weiss Lake

We stayed in one of the geodomes by the lake and it was great! Nice kitchen and bathroom with everything needed included. Definitely a great glamping experience! We’ll be back. Check out the Little Rock River hiking too, very pretty. Rome Georgia had a cute little downtown area with restaurants and shops.

Running Water Creek is a unique, fully off grid campground just 20 minutes to downtown Chattanooga. We have 80+ campsites spread out over 120 acres. Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. Some info about the property: -we DO NOT have water or power hookups -we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough) -we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by) -none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly) -most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own

Quail Run Farm

We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. We have a pool that is available to rent privately during your stay. You can use the Swimply app to book your time or you can message us through HipCamp, and we can set that up for you. Embracing farm life is not just an adventure but also a valuable learning opportunity, whether you're a family or an individual seeking a taste of the countryside lifestyle. Coffee maker with all coffee fixings, a bottle of wine (each night) and a s'mores kit for roasting at the fire pit. This is great for date night, anniversary or special occasion for couples. Over 21 only and No pets. Tipi was hand made by us. The wood used for the Tipi poles and outhouse was harvested from this property. The Tipi sits on a wooden platform off the ground. You will love the convenience and location. Located 1 exit off 1-59/ 1-24 split. Only 15 miles from Chattanooga Tn and minutes away from local attractions - Rock City, Ruby Falls, Crystal Caverns, Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, and Cloudland State Park. Wilderness Outdoor Drive in Movie theater is only 2 miles from the Tipi and 5 miles away from Lookout Flight Park. There is many opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Jacuzzi also steps away from tipi. Tipi is off grid but has electricity using generator and battery pack. A small creek below the tipi with a seasonal flow. Five Guest Glamping Cabins (three with queen-sized beds and two with two twin beds) are available on-site at the Haven Village in East Tennessee. Each cabin is limited to two guests and there is no additional fee for the second person. Cabins are simply decorated with basic a focus on non-toxic bedding including hemp wool mattresses, wool pillows, organic linens and towels. Weekend Package (includes tour & some shared meals) and Meal Plans (for training and events) are an additional cost and need to be added for each person. All bookings must be approved and a $22-month Private Membership Fee per booking is required. All guests must sign our Guest Agreements and Liability Waiver upon arrival. Please note there is a $100 refundable security deposit applied one day prior to arrival and refunded two days after departure to cover any cost for damaged to the property including our organic hemp linens, comforters or lost keys.
