This Hipcamp is a gem!!! We stayed here with our kids and loved it - Mae creates an atmosphere you just feel at home! There are so many thoughtful details, starting from the balls and fishing toys for the kids, along the beautiful flowered wall, the sheltering tent to the sink you even love to do the dishes :) It was our favourite place on Hawaii!!🌺

Very beautiful spot. The cabin was cozy and clean, the shower was amazing and the pool was great for an evening swim. We had the place to ourselves which was really nice. There are roosters that start early in the morning but we found that's typical for Hawaii.

An amazing stay - so warm and welcoming. Recommend going in the daylight and enjoying your stay - you can hang with the dogs/chickens, browse the gardens, sit at the patio/pool. Full camper hook up. Kind hosts! Favorite part was the outdoor shower and washrooms were clean/great.

I don’t think I could recommend Moon Garden Farms and Mae enough. Truly a surreal experience and we could not have thanked Mae enough. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest dog, Nubs! Mae has such a great set up for camping, enjoying the sunshine and cleaning up afterwards. There are quite a lot of nature sounds, but we found them to be comforting. We also had a little oops and got ourselves stuck and Mae came to our rescue and helped us get unstuck. Truly a magical time and we will be recommended Moon Garden Farm to everyone. Thank you Mae!!!!!!

I loved campervan camping here!! There was a beautiful sunset happening while I was freshening up in the outdoor shower. Very quiet and peaceful! It was just over an hour to the Haleakalā summit, so I was grateful for the extra sleep before heading to the sunrise!

Family of 3 w/ 3.5yo toddler. RTT truck camping. We absolutely loved it! The groundskeeper, Patrick was an awesome host. Was so kind. You can feel the mana and Aloha flowing throughout this land. There is so much to see and do. So much education and so many varieties of plants, fruits, vegetables to do your own research on. Hungry? Easy. Make eggs with chives and tomatoes. Maybe some papaya and banana? The ingredients are only a step away. Easily going to be a “home base” for us on spontaneous, last minute camping trips.

The property is located on Maui island in the Kula district on the drier side of Haleakala. In days before western contact the area was heavily forested with native plants and trees and rainfall was abundant. The native Hawaiian grew bananas, taro and sweet potato. After Western contact businessmen mostly from the United States developed huge tracts of land for ranching and farming which cleared the native forests and destroyed the eco system from the mountain to the sea. Many of the Hawaiian people moved away nearer to the towns and immigrant Chinese laborers from the ranches and plantations moved in. The Chinese brought in the Wattle tree to plant for firewood as these trees grew very fast. These are the majority of the trees that you see today. As part of the Chinese immigration, the founder of modern China, Sun Yat Sen lived here for a time and planned his revolution to overthrow the last Chinese Dynasty. There is a park dedicated to him nearby.We have picnic tables a propane grill, a fire pit and a covered gazebo that is shared with 3 cabins This site is located at the 2800 ft altitude and the temperature at night can range from mid 50 to mid 60 degrees F. If you are planning to go to Haleakala, we are about 45 -60 minutes to the summit. We are also on the south side approach to Hana. There is a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch about 10 minutes away in Keokea town called Grandma's Coffee house.

As all the land here is born of lava, many moons ago this land began to host plants and critters. Long after, it was sculpted and a number of families and farmers have contributed to what we have today. An abundance of fruit and vegetables within sight of the ocean. Peaceful breezes and warming sun make for unparalleled tranquility. Today the land still gives back to its visitors. Come recharge. As this is agricultural lands, there are many critters. Dogs, chickens, pheasants, peacock, mongoose, and many birds. Tge invasive coqui frog is annoying to some and calming to others. The micro climate here swings from warm and dry to wet quickly. Best to always prepare for rain. There is snorkeling, beaches, local food, Cafe, BBQ, poke, fish-n-chips, grocery, Sunday farmers market and hiking nearby. It is peaceful here, but also an active farming community. As an organic farm, we put alot of effort into soil building and as such, there are soft places that will be damaged by the weight of a vehicle. Staying on the driveway is best. We will guide you to where you need to go. Our road is paved, but bumpy. Any vehicle will make it without damage if driven slowly. 1 to 4mph tops. *Be sure to avoid the camper rental companies that restrict certain roads. Aloha and have a great day.

Welcome to Hau'ula Homestead! We are located on O‘ahu, the beautiful Hawaiian Island. Right across the road from Hau'ula Beach park and a short drive from famous North Shore beaches. Flat grass field with some trees and bordered by a stream. We have two RV/tent campsites available. If you are bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. No hookups are available at this time, the sites are flat. Campfires not permitted. We are pet-friendly, but please keep your pets on leash. A toilet, potable water, and wifi are all available. Kokololio Beach Park is a 2-minute drive from the site. Hau'ula Loop Trail is only 4 minutes away. Kokololio Beach is a nice stretch of sand and during the summer months, swimming is possible. When coming from the south, turn left toward the mountain immediately before the long Hauula Beach park bridge or when coming from the north turn right immediately toward the mountain just after the long park bridge into my dirt driveway. You will have the small river on your righthand side as you drive in.

Welcome to Edenova! We are a 2 year old food forest/ sustainable farm located in Mountain View, Hawai'i at 1800ft. So far we have about 25 fruit trees growing along with a vegetable bed, herbs, and numerous flowers and ornamentals. Guests are welcome to any food growing that is ready to harvest. Incredible amounts of love has been poured into this land and there's an infinite amount more to come. We are located within a 20-25 minute drive from Volcanoes National Park. Two of the best restaurants on the island (Wyatt's Place and Da Beans Greens Cafe) are located within a 12 minute drive, and the Mountain View post office and water spigots are located within a 8 minute drive. This is an ideal site for car campers and vanlifers. You are welcome to bring your own tent and pitch it anywhere on the open grass area as well. We have an outdoor kitchen with a 2 burner stove, fridge, copper drinking water container, and a 250 gallon water tank for washing dishes. We have a professionally built outhouse style Humanure Composting toilet. We are less than 200 feet from the paved road so any vehicle will be able to drive straight onto the land. The land is located in a very safe part of the neighborhood with great neighbors closeby (but not too close)!

Camp on the rich and power lava flats of the the big island! This lava plot next to the famed lava temple has very basic services. It is close to Pahoa, Uncle Robert’s Night Market, Kalani resort and many magical and hidden treasures of the newest land on earth!Since a spectacular and dramatic trip to big Island a few years back I have had hot lava, the sweetness of the people, food and the power of Maunakea running through my veins. Equally charming and magical was my incredible host Jade who has made an off the grid home on the lava in Kalapana Gardens. If she is not overbooked, I highly recommend staying with her for at least a couple of nights. If you stay on my adjacent lava plot in my Eurovan or in your tent or vehicle then you may be able to make arrangements to attend one of her deeply soulful ceremonies. Aloha, This is a beautiful high elevation farm , tucked away on the slopes of Mauna Loa. We are high enough to grow stone fruit (apples , peaches , pears ect) and we are laying the groundwork for grapes and citrus as well as subtropical fruits like soursop. We grow biodynamic (beyond organic ) and Implement permaculture methods. We also brew our own microbes and Fertilizers for the gardens. We are near southpoint and punaluu black beach and about an hour south of kona.
