Beautiful And Peaceful Farm Cabinas

3 sites · Lodging5 acres · Waialua, HI
Our sweet permaculture syntropic teaching farm has gorgeous mountain views and open space, feeling like you are away from it all but still just minutes from Haleiwa town and the incredible beaches of the north shore. The cabina we have created is a tiny oasis of calm, designed so you can feel like you're outside with big windows and lots of light while sleeping on a super comfy bed with soft hotel sheets. Sleeps 1-2 people with space for your stuff and a small deck to sip morning coffee and watch the birds in our beautiful fruit orchard. There is a shared common area with a glamping style kitchen, living room and outdoor seating area. Outdoor hot and cold shower and an off-grid incinerator toilet. These common spaces will be shared with 1-4 others depending on who is working at the farm at any time. Our farm is for people who love nature and live a relaxed, healthy lifestyle. It is a sacred and special place that we steward with deep love and care. No parties or late night loud noise. Come here to unwind, slow down, watch sunrise and sunset and let your nervous system reset. Nearby beaches in Haleiwa, Mokuleia, Waimea Bay and Sunset beach are great for swimming or snorkeling in summer and incredible world-class surf in the winter. If you love being close to nature, quiet open spaces and simple living, you will treasure being on this sacred and special land.

Chico Cabin

1 site · Lodging5 acres · Waialua, HI
Kia'i means protector in Hawaiian. We see ourselves as stewards to this high vibrational ancient Hawaiian land. Our aim is to aloha her. Love her and respect her. Working with the land. We converted a shed to a Tiny Hale (home) with a fun modern vibe at the base of the stunning Ka'ala mountains. As builders and designers we played with recycled materials and collected to create a playful, cozy, modern farm design for this tiny home. Sleep on the north shore of Oahu on a 5 acre farm in the Guava and Chico orchard amongst the chickens and chirping birds. Our food farm has an array of fruit. We grow chico, ulu, taro, mango, citrus, banana, guava, flowers and much more. Stay on the famous 7 mile miracle surf stretch, 2 minutes from historic Haleiwa town, 7 minutes to Ali'i Beach park, 35 minutes from the Honolulu International airport, You will have all the necessities with a flushing toilet, full refrigerator, kitchenette, wifi and a washer/dryer. Cabins near Honolulu with a private bathroom guide

Overview

With the big city juxtaposed against the blue water and sandy beaches, camping at Honolulu is the ideal combination of fun and relaxation. Enjoy some coastal camping on Sand Island, located on the Honolulu Harbor. There are beaches, hiking trails, snorkeling, and even a small community on the island itself with watersport rentals and eateries. After getting your fill of lazing on the beach and swimming, head across the channel to Honolulu proper where you can find the Polynesian Cultural Center, the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, the Battleship Missouri Memorial, and downtown shopping. Head a little further inland to the Honolulu Watershed Forest Reserve. Both the Lulumahu Falls and Monoa Falls are stunning hikes. For great views, hike up to the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. If hiking is your thing, take the Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail. Stop along the way at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve and the Sea Life Park. Whether you want to explore nature or combine camping with some city fun, Honolulu has it.
