Nestled on the scenic North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Maleka Farm offers an oasis for travelers seeking respite and adventure. Located in close proximity to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Kahuku Food Trucks, and Shrimp Farms, guests can immerse themselves in the diverse culture and vibrant food scene of the island. Just a short walk away lies the beach, inviting visitors to bask in the sun, swim in the ocean, or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline. We have a restroom facility that includes 3 private bathrooms. Each with their own shower, toilet and sink. There is hot water, heated by solar energy! The restroom facility is shared with other guests on Maleka Farm. We collect rain water for our shower, toilet, and sink, and use solar panels for electricity. SUGGESTION: Check the weather report in advance to ensure that you are prepared for any weather conditions that could occur. Hawaii's rainy season is from October-March. Keep in mind that Hawaii is a tropical island so be prepared for mosquitoes and other insects. There is a higher chance of mud during the rainy season as well. For Tents: Maleka Farm provides space for pitching tents. Set up your tent and enjoy the simplicity of sleeping under the stars, listening to the birds and waking up to the natural beauty that surrounds you. For Camper-Vans: Maleka Farm can accommodate camper-vans of various sizes. The Farm is flat. Hiking Trails: Maleka Farm provides easy access to a variety of hiking trails in the town of Laie and surrounding areas. Some popular trails in the vicinity include: Laie Summit Trail, Ma'akua Ridge Trail, Laie Falls Trail, Malaekahana Falls Trail Local Attractions: In addition to the mesmerizing mountain views, Laie and its surrounding areas offer a variety of attractions such as the Polynesian Cultural Center, an immersive cultural experience showcasing the traditions and history of the Pacific Islands. Hukilau Cafe is 0.3 miles down the street (have you seen the movie 50 First Dates? One of the scenes is based on the cafe). For more food and shopping options, 2 miles down the road is Kahuku Food Trucks market. You can also visit nearby beaches for swimming, snorkeling, or simply basking in the sun.

I grew up here my whole life, and I never got bored living here. Every day I got to wake up and go to the beach just minutes away from home, or my cousins and I would have a fishing contest to see who could catch the most fish. We would also go paddling up the river to lay nets down to catch some ono (delicious) crab for dinner. Nothing like living the true local style, which is the same experience I want you to have. Learn more about this land: Aloha! Looking for a place to lounge and adventure? Mangrove Lounge is the place for you! Mangrove Lounge is located right behind the historical town called Haleiwa Town. Camper Vans or RVs are more than welcome! During the day, enjoy access to a private river where you can take your fishing pole and catch yourself some dinner. After a busy day, enjoy a nice hot bath in a private shower under the stars, along with a flushing toilet and sink. Upon request and additional charge, end your adventure with a cozy night next to the fire pit ($28.00 for fire pit). Mangrove Lounge is 3-5 minutes (driving) away from many beaches and eateries in Haleiwa town where you can also do all your shopping. Less than a mile away, you can find all the delicious food trucks including the famous Giovanni Shrimp Truck. You can find your nearest supermarket just 1.2 miles away called Malama Market, and Longs Drug Store right across the street from Malama Market. Mangrove Lounge provides clean bathroom, a shower with hot water, access to a private river for relaxing or fishing, spacious camping tents if requested for $30.00-$40.00 your entire stay, about 800ft from the nearest bus stop, and secured privacy so you and your friends or family can relax, feel safe, and most importantly...have fun! 😊 Details about each campsite lounge: -Each campsite lounge provides a spacious area for tents or campervans. -Picnic table big enough to fit four people comfortably. -Garbage bins for trash. -Water hose located all around campsite for guests to use. - Access to a private river. -If its not a cloudy night, the stars here at Mangrove Lounge is beautiful. -Bathroom facility is sanitized and cleaned everyday. **What you should bring: 1. This land has been in my family for four generations now. My great grandfather cleared this land with no motorized machinery, just himself and his hand tools. He also farmed a portion of this land. This land is located within a short walking distance to the legendary Kalamaula Rock && The King's Summer Home in Coconut Grove. It is said that the royalty had established friendships with mermaids that lived in the ocean near Coconut Grove. Come and pitch a tent on approximately 3 acres of raw land in rural Hawaii in Kalamaula, Molokai, Hawaii. This raw piece of land is located 2 miles West of Molokai's Main Town we call Kaunakakai. Kaunakakai translates into English as: " Town By The Sea". There is many Kiawe Trees scattered around this property. In some parts of this 3 acre parcel of land, This lot is located near the county bus route( only about a 5 minute walk from bus stop at 2 mile marker or Kahanu Street). Molokai is called " The Most Hawaiian Island!!" If you rent a vehical, I am willing to give u a tour of the island for $48.00 a day!!
