Excellent spot, with great sites. Would recommend to RVs, tents campers, horse riders, and anyone who enjoys nature. And I can't forget to mention the clean and modern bathroom/showers. With more expansion underway, I can't wait to go back!

2 nights at The LAAAAND (just you & 50 acres)

I've stayed at around a dozen hipcamps around the country, and I have to say, this is one of my favorites. It is completely private and there is much to explore right there on the property. Easy communication with the host, available water, and a few minutes drive from some cool hikes in the red river gorge. I'll definitely be staying here again if I'm in the area.

Weekend Trip to Shasta Valley

We loved bringing our teardrop trailer to this beautiful private property! We are new to the area and this was the perfect spot for our family. We felt so safe and comfortable and had everything we needed! Our camper did wonderful by the pond! We did hiking every day at red River Gorge and it was so nice coming back to this nice private spot (spot by the pond). We did this trip in March so even though the nights were chilly we did just fine and everyone was sad to leave! Thank you guys for such a great experience and for sharing your property with us!

She gave us a great recommendation for Creation Falls, which ended up being one of our favorite sights. It was fun to chat with her about it when she stopped to check in that evening. I highly recommend that you book a stay here. I’m sure Kim will take great care of you too.

My place is secluded and peaceful. Its a wooded country setting and is a primitive site. There are no facilities or utilities, there is an outhouse/self composting (follow up your business with dropping leaves in after). It may not be suitable for children as there are active brush/wood burn piles on the land. See all photos and ask questions, please. I want it to be enjoyable for all who book. It’s also noteworthy that there are dogs in the area that roam free, it’s way out in the country, there are no leash laws. I’ve never had any issues with unfriendly dogs, but always be aware. It’s at a dead end road, no thru traffic. You can stay and enjoy some amazing stargazing, (there is minimal lighting and a very dark, clear view of the night sky) and lots of peace and quiet or explore the Daniel Boone National Forest surrounding the property or travel a short distance and see so many nearby amazing areas…Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, NADA Tunnel, Sky Bridge, Cave Run Lake, Twin Knobs and Zilpo Recreation Areas, Carter Caves State Park, Grayson Lake, Rudy’s Ranch. Our lodging features treehouses, yurts, a bunkhouse, retro camper, water/electric hook-ups, and campsites. We also host weddings, retreats, and other events so advance reservations are required. For insurance purposes and the safety of our own livestock and pets, we do not allow guests to bring their pets/ESAs onto the property. Prepare to UNPLUG as we do not have cell service or wifi (there IS a landline for guests to make phone calls located in the Community Farmhouse). All guests from tent to treehouse have access to our solar-powered Community Farmhouse featuring a fully-stocked chef-inspired kitchen, restrooms, coin-op laundry, and upstairs multi-purpose room with a library and board games. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with additional cooking space including a grill, microwave, and sink (sink is closed in the winter so the pipes don’t freeze). Next to the Farmhouse is a massive pavilion with picnic tables for al fresco dining and firewood bundles to purchase. BRING CASH! Our seasonal bath house is generally open from April or May to October or November based on the prevailing temps. There are 4 flush toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 hot showers. The floors are concrete so we recommend shower shoes and you'll want to bring your own towels and shampoo/soap. The farm has a small playground, yard games, creeks, and a steep and rugged hiking trail that loops the mountain. We're also just 8 miles from the hiking trails at the Berea College Pinnacles, 8 miles to Owsley Fork Reservoir, 20 minutes to Anglin Falls, 12 miles to Berea, 35 minutes to Richmond, Ky, and a scenic hour to Red River Gorge. For other activities, restaurants, shopping, music, and more, we're happy to share our favorites, but highly recommend checking out the Berea Tourism website.

You can walk the creek bed, rock hunt, listen to the creek pass by and enjoy the serenity of nature. This is in the corner of our 540-acre farm which was once part of the Locust Branch School. This area is an old tobacco and cattle farm on a point above Laurel Lake. We do a bit of farming and crafting when we can and thought we’d try and share our lovely spot! Much of the timber on the place is nearly 100 years old hardwoods, with a couple of fields throughout. I camp here myself too, and can recommend it for privacy! Learn more about this land: You can park an RV or trailer on these private sites within a 10min drive or short walk to Laurel Lake! Gravel roads to a field capable of holding up to two trailers with more planned in time! Primitive sites, Quiet n private. These sites are also within 10 mi of both London and Corbin Ky, with services available at both. Scenic Cumberland Falls is a short 25 min drive, and this place is adjacent to the Daniel Boone National Forest with plenty of hiking nearby.
