Land around the property is protected so there are many birds, ponds and streams. Hiking trails are right outside your door. Natural water sources do not have spigots. If you choose to use the natural water source for drinking, all water should be treated! This is a wilderness area. The TREE TENT is 13x 13 x 13 and sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. The tent is 4 feet off the ground. You will need to lift yourself into it. Please remove shoes before entering the tent. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES This is a dry campsite. There are no showers or toilets. There is an outhouse and a 5 gal PROPANE shower. (You will need a small canister of propane). 5 gallons of water is provided. There is a very large pot for boiling water if needed. There is a fire ring with a grill, a picnic table, 2 reclining camp chairs, a Gazebo, and a Tree Tent. A trolly is provided to carry your belongings as it is a short hike uphill to the site. No cooking or sleeping supplies are available. You must bring your own bedding, cooler, cooking utensils, wood and small propane canister. (We have sleeping bags if you forget your own and a spare mattress for the gazebo upon request). ***PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE AND TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU*** It is recommended to arrive before dark on your first night of camping. Campsite check in from 12:00 pm on arrival day. Check out time 11:00 am on departure day. Bug spray is highly recommended. Bring a flashlight. The campsite is on a hill and is very rough, uneven ground and there are protruding rocks and tree roots. Please use caution when walking around the property. Our cabin is an off grid post and beam structure that we built 6 years ago. It's got a full kitchen, wood stove, and screened porch. The water is limited as is the electricity - there is a 60 gallon tank and two batteries charged by solar. Which means if we are without sun for a few days, this will effect the batteries for the lights and the water pump. We also fill a 150 gallon potable water tank outside of the cabin to supply water in the event the power runs out (we also provide a 5 gallon jug to bring water inside from the tank). There are a generous supply of lanterns (both battery and inflatable solar) flashlights and string lights for back up lighting. This is a small two story timber frame cabin off grid and secluded deep in the woods. It has limited water/power with a separate outhouse. The cabin has a king sized bed in the loft with a child size fold down bunk above it; there is also a pull out couch on the first floor. As well as a kitchen, screened in porch and fire pit. Linen, dishes and utensils are not included please bring all that you need. There is a propane 4 burner stove with oven and solar shower bags. Trash and campfire wood is included. We are very busy with kids and work, we try our best to clean and re-supply between guests but it is not always possible, please let us know if something needs attention!
