This is my new go to spot for camping! Love Katie and everyone at Peace Tree. Also great place for astronomers! It’s pretty dark, about a bortle 4 and there’s a really cool spot that overlooks the east. Great for moon rises!

Great spot next to the horse barn and not far from the bathhouse. The hookups are on the right side and not the left so make sure you have a long enough water and electric cord.

We had an awesome time. Just getting started with RockHounding and this place was a gem! Pun intended! Camp ground is still being developed but good space between sites and the staff was always available to answer questions. Baby goats to play with and an amazing river that we almost fell asleep next to. Lots of trails to hike so take your water, snacks, and a big enough backpack to haul out your bounty!

Weekend Trip to Spring Lake Ranch

Beautiful location! First off, it was a big ranch with various walking trails around the ranch. We booked A3 site for our car camping and the sunset view from the site was just amazing. People working there were so friendly and helpful. They also offer kayaking and provide life vest from the country store. Few things that could be a concern for others are, sites are pretty close by and since we are by the lake, people came in-front of our site for fishing. Since it was off season when we went there, we only had couple of people coming but during season, there might be more. So, if that might be concerning. Other than that, we had a beautiful time there and would love to come back and explore the property more.

Loved it so much we booked an extra night! Aside from the artistic charm that this site has, the amenities really make it something special. The hot tub and sauna were extremely well maintained, the campsites had super unique layouts and were nicely spaced out from one another, and we had a blast getting to go out and kayak on the lake for free. The folks that own the land were extremely friendly and did a great job keeping dry firewood, toilet paper in the compost outhouses, and fresh water stocked for campers. 5 minute drive into town for anything you might need. Johnson shutins and Elephant rocks are both a short drive away. 10/10 experience, will definitely be returning.

Friendly hosts and a well equipped glamping platform tent. We really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful front porch sitting and a cozy wood burning stove to fend off the chill. That outdoor bathtub was a fun experience. Well done.

Incredibly beautiful place! The campsites all have great views of the water and nature packed woods. Sunset here was spectacular. And your probably thinking that it can’t get any better then that can it? It does get better…. We lost a purse and the host found it and called after we left defeated. They have it there going to even drive a hour away to bring this thing back to us! Will be back

2 nights at Lakefront- 16 Miles from Branson!

Site A was just a little unclear as to where it was at, as you had to take the second road on the left and then go for a few spots, so once you know what you are looking for, it is easy to find. The lot was level, clean, and easy to back into. Matt and Laura were responsive as needed, but thankfully I did not have to contact them much at all.

1 night at Four Creeks Campground

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Four Creeks Campground. We chose a creekside campsite and loved how quiet it was—just the sounds of birds and the gentle water nearby. It was really cool to walk along the creek bed and check out all the different rocks. Shelly was an amazing host. She responded quickly when we made a same-day booking and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She met us when we arrived, gave us a tour of the property and nearby area, and even showed us to our site. We bought firewood from her, and she kindly helped us load it up. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful nature getaway with a super friendly host!

This place is amazing - really beautiful, very clean and the sauna and hot tub are amazing. The camp sites are everything you need! Would recommend to anyone.

4 nights at Arcadia Valley Outdoors Land

Went for a 4 night stay with my wife for her birthday and our dog penny. Even though we had rain almost everyday it was still a great time. They do give the option to pay for rain insurance but we ended up not buying it. (We should have) haha. Over all it was an awesome experience. Mike was a great host. Setting up the sauna and hot tub for us everyday and night which was included with our stay. We also did some kayaking (which is also included with our stay) we lose phone service upon arrival. But thats what helped us disconnect and to pay attention to nature more. We will definitely be back in the summer when everything has bloomed more. Thank you for everything Mike!

Some walking trails are cleared, and more are being cleared throughout the forest, leading to, and across the creek (if you wade across). Some of it is wild woodland! Guests are invited to explore 3-4 acres of woods leading from the round-about of the RV road, in to the woods to the creek if so desired! Guests also may use the greenspace on west side of the RV road. Please limit your activity to these areas of my larger family farm. You may want to remember your wading boots and bug spray! Camp Under The Stars!

Nice little patch of heaven under no light stars on our farm. It's really cool to see every star as it gets very dark when the sun goes down. Very quiet except the frogs and critters chirping. Campsite is situated next to our pond with a dock and paddle boat. We've caught some nice sunfish and catfish here in this pond. Nice fire ring and stumps to use for tables or to sit on. This is a nice little spot for a stop off to enjoy the evening as you travel or stay a few nights! There are no restrooms on site. Water is available. Downtown Carrollton is about 3 miles away with a very nice grocery store, Up Town Brewery, shops and restaurants. We also have a new city swimming pool with slides Memorial Day through Labor Day, and the Burger bar restaurant! At this time we are limiting space to tent campers or single axle campers. Access to the pond is on a field and too heavy of a camper may be an issue if it rains.

Located in a serene valley in the Ozark Highlands, the Ranch has Sheep, Scottish Highland Cattle, Chickens, Ducks and Great Pyrenees livestock guard dogs (only in the sheep pastures - and they are friendly). If you want to meet our animals and see the farm we are happy to show you around! This is a unique site located in the Ozark Highlands. Only 45 minutes from Cape Girardeau (a small river town on the Mississippi), and 45 minutes from the Arcadia Valley including Taum Sauk mountain (the highest point in Missouri), Elephant Rocks, the Johnston Shutins, and other beautiful areas in the highlands. The farm is five minutes from Marble Hill, which is home to the Bollinger County Natural History museum which highlights the only dinosaur bones found in Missouri. The bones were found at a farm in Glennallen (a few minutes from our farm) as well as a great barbeque (Jay’s Restaurant) and a good catfish restaurant (Jers Restaurant). On the way to our farm, feel free to stop at the 1,700 foot deep artesian well to get a cool, refreshing jug of natural artesian well water – the water is free, but you have to bring your own containers! We are two and a half hours southwest of St. Louis, and two and half hours northwest of Memphis.
