A lightly wooded hillside parcel with half a dozen sites. Nicely spaced. Great host. Very prompt response.

Weekend Trip to Sunset Mountain

Me and my husband loved the stay we had at Sunset Mountain , the campgrounds were beautiful, serene, and welcoming. Our host James was very accommodating and welcoming. The trail we walked was so peaceful and well maintained. The hot tub was beyond relaxing the jets gave the best massage. The bathroom was very clean. When we set up our tent the campsite was very clean normally I have to sweep an area for my tent but not here it was very nice how maintained the campgrounds were. We will definitely be back for more fun in the sun on beautiful Sunset Mountain!

Great spot close to downtown Bentonville. Half a mile from a trailhead, if mountain biking is your thing. Bryan is the nicest guy. He was genuinely interested in making sure I was having a good time.

1 night at Sunset Mountain

I enjoyed my day visit to Sunset Mountain on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Because it was mid-March and a little windy and chilly on the mountain, I especially enjoyed the hot tub and the trails, though I did manage to get in a little sunbathing. I envision returning to enjoy the freedom offered.

I didn’t have an extended stay but I do appreciate good directions and a flat spot to park the camper on. Directions were great and amenities were there to feel comfortable. The trails are right down the road!!

Great place to relax for a couple days. This spot is an easy drive to town but far enough out to be peaceful. Located an easy drive away from some great trails and a cool creek. I had a lotta fun exploring around the area with my dog. Thx Bryan!

Bryan the property owner is great, ready to answer any questions you may have about Bentonville. His site is great for self sufficient campers. You got a portapotty and that’s about it, but come prepared and camp here for basically nothing money wise. Less than $50 for 2 nights in a tent. I checked out his sweet “glamping” tent. It’s pretty sweet and roomy. Definitely recommend for those people who are self sufficient. You’re a .5 mile from the Back 40 trailhead, and maybe a couple miles to the Slaughter Pen and Coler. Top notch location! Thanks Bryan!
