Welcome to The Lazy Loon! Learn more about this land: The Lazy Loon Ranch offers each site (2) parking spaces for cars/truck campers/vans, (1) tent platform, and an additional mowed area for a second tent if needed for its guests. There is also a picnic table, and outdoor shower available for use. Recently added is also a full indoor bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. There are beautiful views of Glacier National Park in the distance where several peaks come into view on a clear day! We are just 10 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 25 minutes from the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park. Each campsite includes One (1) tent platform that measures 110" x 110", One (1) additional area of mowed grass to pitch a second tent if needed, and two (2) parking spaces for a car, truck camper, or van. If you plan on utilizing the ground spot for a tent we recommend having some kind of ground cover (tarp, blanket, etc.) to protect your tent from moisture or grass stalks. Shared spaces among campers include: -Sink, bathroom, shower, fire pit, and picnic table.

Located in Yaak, MT, along the PNT (pacific northwest trail), deep in the Kootenai National Forest, in the Northwestern corner of Montana. Pick your campsite in the trees or in the grass, shade or sun. The 2 acre grounds extend to Yaak River, with a shared dock, and communal outdoor kitchen, (propane grill and fire pit, small fridge, some pans and utensils). Camp fire wood is available for purchase, or bring your own local firewood. Camping fee includes Hot outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, outhouses, fire pits, WiFi, trash cans. In Summer, we have an on-site espresso/ice cream shop and fresh chicken eggs for sale. Roads and trails to explore are endless. Rivers, waterfalls, alpine lakes, Kootenai Falls and Lake Kookanusa are all close by. In Winter, explore groomed snowmobile/cross country ski trails, or go back country. Also, Turner Mountain Ski Area is only 17 miles away. Come set up your tent, or car camp. Also, we can accommodate your small camper/RV, with water and 110 power hookups. The Oasis can also be rented for parties and events, up to 100 people. Package includes exclusive use of the grounds, dock, outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, firepits, and grills. Are you looking to to explore North Fork Flathead River area by Polebridge? We have the spot for you! Large enough for camper vans, small campers or a tentsite. Located 8 miles north of Polebridge. Quiet, off grid spot with well water, flushing toilet, hot shower, covered outdoor bar/ kitchen area, picnic tables and fire pit. Yard games, Darts, camp chairs, hammock chairs, firewood all available on site. Starlink wifi available (password and details provided upon request when booked). Things to do: A short hike across the road will lead you to a spectacular overlook of the river and into Glacier Natl. Park. ( Morning coffee at sunrise is a favorite time to view). The property is located on Whale Creek and there is a primitive trail down to the creek. Raft, Kayak, SUP at nearby Put-in to North Fork Flathead River(Ford) 2 miles North. Ford to Polebridge take-out approx. 8 river miles. Great float with mild class 1-2 rapids in a few sections, fantastic fishing and great views of Glacier Natl. Park. Fly fishing North Fork is spectacular, many spots along the river are accessible from North fork Rd. as you drive North Polebridge Mercantile (in Polebridge) has fabulous pastries, bread, hot and cold sandwiches, beer, soda, water, ice, snacks, gifts, etc. Northern Lights Saloon and Eatery is next door with a full bar and great food menu, live music usually in the evenings. Entry into Glacier National Park via Polebridge 8 miles south or the Camas rd. 20 miles south of Squirrel Camp (Please check with Glacier National Park for times and Permits). Please respect our property and neighbors by keeping site clean as you found it and pack out your trash when leaving. BE BEAR AWARE do not leave out food or bear attracts. Be aware you are in bear country and always have bear spray or firearm especially when on hikes or adventures in the North Fork.

Welcome to Perfectly Located Whitefish Basecamp! Whether you're a Digital Nomad working remotely, a Traveling Professional working in the area, or an adventurer on vacation - if you want to experience all there is to offer in the beautiful resort town of Whitefish and in Northwest Montana, then this is your place to base from! A few things to take a look at before you book: -Hipcamp is predominantly made up of private land listings, and very few commercial parks. This property is private land comprised of this guest RV site, a guest studio, and the owner's residence. It is not a commercial campground. -Please be sure to read the full "Property Description" and "Site Description." Those include site details, the nightly rate before Hipcamp/ Host commission, taxes, and conversion rate (if you are not using US dollars). Rates will vary during the busiest months. Please be aware of the cancellation policy. - You'll want to take a look at the many photos that are included. They provide an accurate depiction of the site. This property includes: -FREE WIFI -NEW OUTDOOR CAMPING SHOWER, heat-on-demand, soft-sided, shower + changing room (Memorial Day-Labor Day) -RV overflowing with family and friends? We'll install a tent for you (book under EXTRAS). ABOUT THE SITE: You will have a large, heavily shaded space with a yard: picnic table with tablecloth, chairs, umbrella; gas grill; hammock; swinging Hawaiian chair; bench that easily converts to a laptop station; firepit with chairs; outdoor shower with heat-on-demand (County fire restrictions at certain fire season times could prohibit firepit usage). There are two driveways, one in the front of the property where you will enter, it is exclusively yours. In the back, there is another driveway/entrance that comes in from another street. Your RV/Trailer/Motorhome/Camper must have a toilet. While we do not have disposal on site, there are two conveniently located RV dumping stations, one 4 miles directly north in Whitefish and one 7 miles directly south in Kalispell. We will provide written directions to both upon check-in. LOCATION: At the edge of Glacier National Park in the Northern Rocky Mountains is a vibrant town built around a shared appreciation of the wild. From the mountains rich with forests, lakes, and rivers to the welcoming downtown, this is a place worth exploring and protecting for all those who love it. This site is a suburban half-acre, heavily wooded lot conveniently located 5 miles south of downtown WHITEFISH and 8 miles north of the hub of KALISPELL. We are only a 25-minute drive to GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. 12 minutes to WHITEFISH LAKE BEACH. 25 minutes to FLATHEAD LAKE BEACH and 15 minutes to LES MASON STATE PARK/BEACH (where dogs are allowed). WHITEFISH MOUNTAIN RESORT is a 20-minute drive up the mountain. A ski resort in the winter, there is a lot to do in the summer: Zip lines, mountain biking, slides for the kids, and more - SkiWhitefish.com. The CANADIAN BORDER is 60 miles north. Charming downtown WHITEFISH has music in the park, great restaurants and shops, a golf course and, a river runs through it for paddle boarding and kayaking. The WHITEFISH DOG PARK is a sprawling, 5-acre dog park in a picturesque setting with stunning views of mountains, passing trains, wide open space for lots of play areas, beach & pond, picnic tables, wheelchair accessible, fully accessible paved paths, benches, a drinking fountain for dogs and people, community pavilion, small dog area, agility course, dog wash station and trees. It has been recognized as one of the best dog parks in the country! There are HIKING TRAILS ONLY 4 BLOCKS FROM THE SITE, suitable for mountain bikers, children, and is very dog friendly. Booking must have a 24-hour notice, no same-day bookings. Please note that we are not far from Highway 93 so you can hear the traffic and there is activity in the area. If you are looking for a super quiet, isolated site, this is not the best fit for you. If you want to be right in the middle of everything NW Montana has to offer, this is it!
