CedarRose Farm is a fantastic former produce farm that we operated for 21 years, surrounded by other friendly smallholdings, art studios and homesteaders. A clean portapotty is on site starting May 3rd through September 15th. We offer campfire popcorn poppers, complete with kernels, oil and butter! S'Mores kits and toasting forks, with enough goodies for 8 S'mores. Check out our 'Extras' and relax and enjoy yourself! Please ask us about visiting us on the farm, we have a shady outdoor dining room you're welcome to enjoy. Ask for directions to "Sunset Point", its a quick hike to a secret campfire ring with perfect lounge chairs and amazing views! There's always something to do, horses to feed and brush, chickens and ducks that need feed and watched by the pond. Stargazing and birdwatching are great here, its very dark at night, almost no light pollution, and I've counted 43 different birds! We love biking, hiking, paddle boarding and having campers! We know you'll love it as much as we do!

Bring your toys & horses for the direct access (through "town") to 100s of miles of trails for horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, ATVs or 4x4s in the Tobacco Root mountains. The glamping tent has two twin beds (pushed together as one King bed but can be separated) and sleeps two people. If you have additional people in your party (max two additional people), please bring a tent for them to sleep in — there is plenty of flat space to set up on. Extra guests are welcome to use all amenities — there's an extra charge of $25/person/night (kids under 13 stay for free). Max 2 dogs and/or 2 horses, please. $20/pet/stay charged separately. Outside there's a firepit and several separate areas to relax and hang out. There is also an over 125 year old root cellar that is made in to a very special protected area for your meals — like a romantic dinner. Guest access Parking is right outside of the property. Guests have their own gate in the white picketed fence. The access is flat on grass and there is maybe 150 feet between where you park and the glamping site. Other things to note Guest stays at their own risk. There’s a creek, rope-swing, insects, trees to climb and many more things that could be hazardous if not respected. Everyone in your party is responsible for staying safe by being careful and responsible. Parents are responsible for minors. Guests are fully responsible for any pet they bring. Might be a good idea to bring boots for walking through the morning dew in the grass. If you bring dog and/or equine(s) — your animal has to be 100% healthy and be fully vaccinated. Stay on the banks of the beautiful Gallatin River and Cottonwood Creek - fly fishing by day; falling asleep under a canopy of trees and a blanket of stars to the sounds of the nearby riffles by night. *20 Minutes to Downtown Bozeman, BZN Airport, Montana State University *1.5 Hours to West Yellowstone, MT *Multiple Local Hot Springs Nearby Heavy-duty canvas tent provides accommodations for two guests. Our canvas wall tent can be setup with: - One king bed OR Two XL twin beds All bedding and linens are provided. The tent has a desk, armoire for clothing/gear storage, coat rack and hooks; and both an indoor and outdoor dining table. A supply of fresh water and ice (in an ice chest), coffee/tea/cocoa/cider is provided as well as dishes and cookware. An indoor-safe small propane heater is provided for cool evenings and a battery-operated fan for warmer nights. Solar-powered and battery-operated lighting is provided. Outside the tent is an oversized, three-burner propane Camp Chef Pro-90 camp stove, cast iron cookware, grill tools, and kettle. On the deck is an outdoor dining table and chairs. To cap it off, the deck of the tent looks out over a perfectly tree-framed view of the Bridger Mountain Range. Additional amenities include a private outdoor shower and sink area *with hot water* tucked under the canopy of a Cottonwood grove (biodegradable soap/shampoo, lotion, towels, washcloths, robes, and dish towels provided.), and a hammock. A barnwood outhouse is situated nearby. A few short yards away from the Tent Site is a communal one-room cabin, the Warming Hut, for use by all guests staying on property and includes a small wood burning stove, table and chairs, and rocking chairs on the porch. An outdoor fire pit overlooks Cottonwood Creek and the Gallatin River. One parking space is provided at the tent site; if more parking is required, additional vehicles may park at the Main Lodge and walk or carpool to the tent site. *Please note, we do operate a fly fishing lodge, BnB, and vacation rental business on the shared 30 acres. Our little farm consists of 5 acres in what is arguably one of the most beautiful and idyllic locations in Bozeman. We are four miles from the interstate (I-90) and 6 miles from the center of Main Street in Downtown Bozeman, so our property is super-convenient to anything you’d like to do in the area. Our farm is located at the end of a private drive in the foothills of the Bridger Mountains with no through traffic. We have peaceful neighbors and spectacular views of the Gallatin Valley, and Bridger Mountains along with epic views of the sunset and sunrise. You can ride bikes and go running on the rural roads where we live, and we are only 2.1 miles away from the Middle Cottonwood Trailhead which will give you access to the Gallatin National Forest via the Middle Cottonwood Trail and Bridger Foothills Trail. (You can run, hike, or ride a mountain bike from our hosting location directly to the trailhead.) We have a couple of horses pastured on the farm, a working art studio, and friendly dogs and cats. There is a patio available for your use with some basic furnishings which features spectacular sunset views. We have power for vans/small RVs, potable water, and a place to dump a cassette toilet. Parking location is perfectly level and completed, but our landscaping is not finished yet around this area. Come spend a night, or two, or three or more at our beloved little farm.
