Vegas Glamping

3 sites · Lodging17 acres · Nelson, NV
So peaceful and serene in this little mountain oasis! Hidden away within the mountains, there’s so much to see and do. Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Book an off road tour around the mountains and down to the river. Check out the world famous ghost town a few minutes away and even goon an underground mine tour. It’s pure bliss and joy. A reset, a rest. Available as a single person camping, all the way up to weekend retreats for the entire family. This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance.

Enjoy the entire valley with the view and privacy up on the hillside. Some neighbors across the street in a container home and tent rentals about a half mile away. This is an outdoor off grid Glamping experience! Bring items you would normally bring camping (DRY CAMPING), but you have the luxury of having shelter, bed, sofa bed, refrigerator/ freezer, propane grill, propane stove, well water provided, and ability to have camp fire as the dome is located on private land not Forest land. Wifi is provided complimentary and as a luxury. Wifi is supported by Starlink and works about 85% of the time due to its remote location and weather conditions. Glamping near Las Vegas guide

Overview

While most people are more likely to associate Las Vegas with massive casino hotels than with glampsites, glamping in the Vegas area is possible—it just requires a bit of searching. Glampers willing to stay a bit away from town will find a few options, though most are privately run Hipcamps, as Nevada state parks don't offer much in terms of glamping. Good areas to look include La Madre Mountains Wilderness, just west of town, the Desert National Wildlife Refuge to the north, and even along the border with California. Authentic Indigenous tipis are particularly popular in the area, though campers will also find earth domes and bell tents to choose from, some that are pet-friendly or family-friendly and others that feature picnic tables, full bathrooms, or fire pits. If you can’t find anything in the immediate vicinity of Las Vegas, you may also want to consider looking for something in the Lake Mead area, about a 45-minute drive from downtown Las Vegas.
