Always love visiting this place—well stocked with an excellent indoor kitchen and lots of gear (skis, snow shoes, poles, sleds) that’s free to use. Rooms are cozy and the fireplace room has a killer view. Major summer camp vibes—I visit as often as I can.

Our stay at Streeter Mountain was great! The cabin was as cozy as advertised, they started the wood burning stove for us so it was warm upon arrival, the hosts were welcoming, and the property is beautiful! Highly recommend for a weekend away to disconnect.

We had a good time while staying here, they were very helpful and accommodating. we stayed in the lighthouse which has no heat or electric while it was snowing, we did have our own personal propane heater and made it through the night just fine. it was definitely cold being that its the middle of winter, but they did offer us to stay in the main house with heat we just decided to rough it in the lighthouse and it was absolutely beautiful! the views were great especially in the snow (just very cold)! the walk to the lighthouse was a little rough due to all of the snow but overall it was great, i would definitely stay here again in the summer!

A quiet and well kept site. We plan on going back, good area for Astrophotography. The outhouse was clean and as expected. The sink with running water made washing dishes a breeze and close to the camping area. Lots of flat space to spread the camp out.

The last two weekends just prior to Halloween a large regional organization turns an old academy into a 25 room Haunted House..called The Haunting there is a fee and only 5 minutes away. We've been to it a number of times it is great

Discs can be provided if needed, ensuring endless entertainment for enthusiasts. Delight in the rejuvenating experience of our wood-fired sauna and hot tub, each accommodating two people at a time. Allow 30-90 minutes for the sauna to warm up, reaching temperatures between 140-210 degrees Fahrenheit, while the hot tub requires a longer preparation time—typically lit 3+ hours prior to use. We're more than happy to assist with setting up either amenity. Embark on a scenic trail cutting through the heart of the disc golf course, leading to a picturesque ravine. Birdsong yurt is a truly unique and special lodging experience you won’t forget. An ideal couple’s getaway or perfect place for friends and family to relax and connect with loved ones. Located on one private acre of land surrounded by trees, you will feel close to nature while still having the comforts of modern conveniences. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy the Mountain View, watch the sunsets and stargaze with a glass of wine by the gas fireplace! Birdsong Yurt is not your average yurt! The yurt is a 30-foot Great Lakes yurt with lots of upgrades. Every detail has been thought through to make this yurt experience as cozy and relaxing as possible. The yurt can sleep two to four people, with a king bed in the main living area and a queen size bed in the back bedroom. Each bed has comfortable fresh clean bedding. The yurt features full kitchen to include a small refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, small 20" cook stove/oven, double cast iron sink, drip coffee pot, tea kettle, microwave, toaster/air fry oven, dishware/glassware for 2-4 people, silverware and cooking utensils, dish towels, dish soap, olive oil, vinegar, cooking spices, cookie sheets, muffin and loaf pans. The bathroom has a 48" stand up shower with rain shower head and is stocked with towels, hand soap, bar soap, hair dryer, starter toilet paper and paper towels for your stay. The living space has a sofa and two chairs perfect to sit and read a book by the fire, play some games or settle down and watch a movie on the 43" smart Roku tv. The yurt is heated with a comfortbuilt pellet stove which is easy to use and can be left unattended for a day out to come back to a nice warm space. We also have a Mini split heat pump which is an additional heat source but also provides air conditioning to keep you cool and comfortable in the warmer months. Outside space Enjoy the view while sitting on the deck with the gas fire place or sit by the wood burning fire pit. (We do not supply wood) but there may occasionally be some left on site. Location The location is perfect for anyone looking for adventure! We are 13 mins to Mt Abram and 27 mins to Sunday River Ski resort! There are many lakes and ponds nearby that are perfect if you are looking to go fishing, kayaking, or looking for a place to cool off in the summer. We are close to many hiking and ATV/snowmobile trails. The town of Bethel is a 15-min drive with lots of great activities including tubingand has some great restaurants, activities as well as a small grocery store.
