Terrace Farm is a multi-generation farm on 160 wooded acres of Tremper Mountain located on the outskirts of the Hamlet of Phoenicia in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. World class fly fishing on the Esopus Creek, private hiking trail to overlooks of the Esopus Valley and historic rock quarries as well as several public hiking trails including the Long Path are all within walking distance. Also located within walking distance is the Hamlet of Phoenicia. We have three sites available. Beechwood at Terrace Farm is the quietest and the most secluded. This will accommodate six guests. Maplewood at Terrace Farm can accommodate eight guests. The Hemlocks at Terrace Farm is our largest site and can handle twelve guests.

Aisling Mountain Farm campgrounds are located in Adams MA, is directly connected to Mount Greylock state park and its miles of trails. We currently have four tent campsites throughout the year with one that will accommodate trailers up to 16' without backing up! Enjoy the view, our cascading waterfall brook, and spend some time with our horses. Please see our FB page at Aisling Mountain Farm for more info. Your campsites are only a few minutes' walk to the Gould trailhead public parking lot and many trails. Also, you have direct access to some amazing single bike paths running all through the state forest. We are located in the Berkshires, with many attractions like, Mass MoCa, Williamstown theater, and many other places of interest.

A true wilderness experience. Base camp is an old Catskill farmhouse built late 19th century but first deeded 1820. Sits at the base of Evergreen Mountain bordered on three sides by tumbling water: West Kill Creek, Herdman Brook, and Haring Brook. Operated as a hunting and fishing lodge for decades - rainbow, brown, heron, kingfishers, eagles, larks , deer, bear, mink, beaver, bobcat - all there, right out the door, literally. You don't know what's going to come through your camp. The actual camp site itself is the ultimate in social distancing. As close to pure wilderness as it gets. No vehicles allowed at site. From an easily accessible parking space, it's a mildly uphill ten minute hike through magical meadows deep into a hidden mountain valley in the midst of 250,000 acres. Utter privacy. The only sounds being the wind, the birds, yourself, and Herdman Brook rushing along a few yards east of your site. Once again no vehicles are allowed at the campsite itself. At one time, yes, but we needed to disallow it because the property was being torn up, and the beauty of the site is that it's so pristine. This is not glamping. No cabin. No platform. Need tent, tarp, or hammock, and you will sleep under more stars than you can possibly imagine. Fire ring, cooking grate, water bucket This is true wilderness camping. You're off the grid at site - no cell service - but wifi available if necessary on front porch of main house aka base camp. 10 a.m. check in. 3 p.m. checkout. Please send ETA when possible. Campers ought to be aware that black bears live in these mountains., although you're not likely to see one unless it's running away from you. If you're really nervous bring bear spray, but you're not likely to need it. I literally chased one off our porch not a month ago. I would appreciate your purchasing human waste bags from me at base camp when you arrive. I'll have them here for $3.00/bag. Feel free to buy your own. You should also bring FIRE STARTER to make your life easier. We sell firewood as well - 7 logs/$10. As with the waste bags, we would appreciate buying the firewood directly from us. Wonderful hikes - one to a waterfall - trail head at end of Spruceton Rd. Hunter Brook, Devil's Notch, Fire Tower atop Hunter Mountain, Ridge of West Kill Mountain West Kill Brewery and Spruceton Inn Bed and Bar each half mile up the road. Civilized respites. 4 campers preferred. 6 possible. One more thing: DOGS. We have two: a 13 year old female whatever and a shepherd-husky mix, 4 years old, also female. They are quite friendly and docile, although the shepherd looks intimidating, and both roam the property at will 2-3 times/day. We would prefer you not bring your dog, however, if you must, please be certain it is well behaved 4.5 miles up County Rte 6 to 1833 Spruceton Rd., NY 12492 Old white farmhouse. On left. Coach lights. American flag. Welcome sign. Look for Baker Rd. Bridge directly opposite on right Stop at house for check in and guide to site. And Drive Carefully! PS: Pack it in. Pack it out. Please leave campsite as pristine as you found it.

We invite you to come camp on 77 acres of varied land. Woods, fields, swimming pond, hiking trails, and possibly even other campers, although it's very private if that's how you'd like it. You may be perfectly content staying put, but if you seek small town offerings, Chatham (15 minutes away) offers restaurants, art galleries, a brewery, movie theatre, two bakeries, and some shops. We are half an hour from Hudson, and in the midst of plentiful Berkshire and Hudson Valley hiking, biking, antiquing, and sightseeing opportunities. Enjoy the big view from the highest corner of the big field. This is a sweet little campsite set in a birch grove with a view to the Catskills, and lots of wildlife. Two minute walk from your car, and a five minute walk to a swimming pond and a composting toilet outhouse. Near Chatham, New York where there is a brewery, cheese shop, bakery, restaurants, and a movie theatre. We are half an hour from Hudson, and in the midst of plentiful Berkshire and Hudson Valley hiking, biking and sightseeing opportunities. Early check-in and late check-out are often fine; just ask. *Special note for winter campers: depending on both snowfall and what you are driving, the parking locations may change. If we can, we will be happy to either ferry you via our 4WD, or help you carry your stuff in. The winter is really fun and beautiful. It's really nice here and we're happy to share it. Property was an Airport called Red Wing back in the 60's and 70's. Purchased and made many improvements. Pond, hiking trails, grass and paved runway. A must see property. We now have new facilities for special events, such as WEDDINGS, ANNIVERSARIES, REUNIONS, MEETINGS & BIRTHDAYS. For both sites there are numerous trails in forest for camping, hiking . Fire wood is available for purchase at the camp site. You can set up your camp site almost anywhere you choose. Crystal clear pond has fountains, swing, dock, canoes, paddle boat & fire pit. Two (2) runways for those that want to fly in. (NY05) Fantastic Views !!!!! Site seeing flights thru the valley available. At both sites we ask when leaving, they must remain as you arrived and what was carried in must be carried out. At present there are no dumpsters available. Final note : If you prefer to use the whole property exclusively, please contact us for an addition rates and we will block the other site.

So, the place is BEYOND beautiful I mean just breath taking so spacious and relaxing me and my friends had a beautiful relaxing time and really enjoyed our stay the only reason i would question staying again if i have to leave an honest review would be the fact that this property has tenants below its made clear with signs in the house not to be loud due to prior complaints and in the description when booking but when paying $400 a night and driving 2-3 hours depending where you are from for a get away then you want to enjoy your weekend and not have to tip toe around also this place is huge and can easily accommodate 10 people but i think max is 4 due to that reason possibly? Seems like a waste of such a beautiful huge space essentially. Otherwise i mean its very nice place clean and well kept.

Christian was so friendly and helpful in showing us where to set up and even setting us up in a cozier spot since there was some super cold, windy weather! The farm is beautiful and waking up to walk around and say hi to the horses and ponies was so nice! We even explored the property for a bit before we left and it was beautiful! The stream was frozen and glorious and Christian kindly wished us safe travels and goodbye when we were on our way out! We hope to come back in the spring when we can do better exploring in the area! 10/10 would recommend Christian’s sweet farm!

Tent camping on Christian's farm was great! Site was clean and secluded. It felt like I checked out of the great race for the weekend. Area is beautiful, with tons of trails to hike all day right from the farm. Just a stones throw from Mt. Greylock- don't forget your Alltrails, or Google maps!

This is my favorite hipcamp location yet! The seclusion, privacy and trails were perfect my dog and I to unplug for the weekend. I definitely plan on returning! Hosts were very communicative leading up to my arrival and am grateful for the farm fresh eggs from such a hardworking farm.

**Please confirm you have read our property description and rules before booking** Our slice of paradise consists of 225 acres of forested land nestled in the foothills of the Catskills near Albany. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away. Visit their website for list of proper gear and rules. We do rent some of the equipment needed. Nearby Hiking Spots: Holt Preserve - 1.2 miles away Thatcher State Park- 9.4 miles Huyck Preserve- 11 miles Hannacroix Creek Preserrve- 8.4 miles Nearby Swimming Spots: Hannacroix Creek Preserve- 8.4 miles Kaaterskill Falls- 24 miles Thompsons Lake- 10 miles North-South Lake- 24 miles Parking: multiple car parking are available at each site.
