Best place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Had a blast couldn’t recommend more. Hosts were great and cabin was super toasty even while a foot of snow fell on the ground.

I loved my stay at Fernando's Cabin! I was worried about being too cold given the temperature outside but the cabin was so cozy, I had to actually to turn the heat down. The basics were all provided. I used my phone as a hotspot with no problems but there was also a hotspot in the cabin. The property is so beautiful and the hot tub was great. Looking forward to staying again !

1 night at Grateful Acres Vermont

We stayed in the Daydream cabin on an 3 day bike packing trip through southern Vermont and it was an absolutely perfect “glamping” experience. The cabin and site were clean and well equipped. The location was amazing and very quiet, and we were even able to see a comet! Our hosts were both very friendly and accommodating! Truly a gem in an otherwise remote area that is a major upgrade from the first-come first-serve sites (bike packers take note). Definitely will come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Adirondack Rustic Retreat

As far as we know, this land has been occupied since shortly after the civil war. It is actually two farms, combined into one around 1900. The main farmhouse was built out of the logs they cleared in 1879, and there are old foundations of the other original farm houses/barns as well. All over the property (now woods) there are piles of stones that the original inhabitants pulled from the fields. The second farm house was built in 1901. Most of the total 240 acres were cleared pasture land at that time. During the twenties and thirties the property was owned by an industrious couple from the City that lovingly turned it into more of a "rustic retreat"; damming a pond, planting ornamentals and upgrading the buildings. There have been many owners over the years, but we are proud to say it has been with us the longest. Our family bought it in 1961 and we have been trying to be good stewards ever since. My grandfather moved an old ice house under the property in 1943 and built the existing camp in 1949. Her family lives in Florida and has continued to maintain and improve the old camp for the last 40 years. After having done selective logging two years ago we discovered a spot in the back of the property overlooking the pond and with the removal of a couple of trees have a beautiful view of Lincoln Pond. The deck with the Yurt is the beginning of an eventual cabin. I live in the main house from late May until late October and decided to share it with like minded nature loving folks.
