Weekend Trip to Cedar Bloom

This park is very spacious and clean, full of vibrant energy. The tea lounge and river were highlights for me. This is a great place to catch some zzzs under a tree. It’s raining on my tent here now at the end of March, with patches of sunshine and warm weather in between. Zzzzzzzzz…

My friend and I had a wonderful stay- despite it being cold and rainy, we were able to feel cozy. We returned from a day of hiking in the redwoods and Mea was wonderful about coordinating so the hot tub and sauna were all warmed up when we got back. She also gave us extra towels to keep the floor (and all of us) dry with the rain. It was my first time bringing my puppy/teen dog on a “camping trip” and this was a good way to ease her into it and keep her comfortable! Very kind and thoughtful people on the property. I would definitely recommend staying! We all felt very safe here.

It was a cool space. Bathrooms were clean and the amenities were great. The campground wasn’t crowded at all when we were there which was especially nice and the property cat was very cute. I’d stay there again

It was absolutely stunning, we walked all over the property. It was peaceful and there were beautiful treasures to see everywhere you looked, from crystals to sitting areas. The bathhouse was magical.

Loved staying in the gnome dome! Watch out for spiders, we had a few of those on the walls but nothing to make it a bad experience overall! Our faves were definitely the sauna and the river overlook showers!!

We had no idea what was to be offered when we booked this campsite. We did open camping during winter, there were cabins as well! The amenities were beautiful. There was so much wildlife. It felt like a beauty retreat!

The Gnome Dome was perfect! I Went the beginning of January, and even with the temperatures below 40 degrees it was warm and cozy! They provided a big buddy propane heater along with natural hemp style blankets! Perfect night! Beautiful setting! Along with the rain hitting the roof with no one around, I couldn’t have asked for a better night! My dog was free to roam and be a dog without worry and Samantha the host was fantastic! Looking forward to staying there again soon! Thanks again for accepting my last minute booking! I adored it!

We had a great time during our stay! The site was well taken care of. The bathrooms/bathing areas were pristine. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked LEGIT - a true chefs kitchen. We appreciated the sauna and the views. I am grateful to our hosts for making this experience relaxing and nurturing. 10/10 recommend.

I love Cedar Bloom! This is my second time booking open camping. I brought my partner this time and we enjoyed seeing the river, sipping hot drinks in the outdoor tea room, cooking in the screened-in kitchen, and most of all the sauna!!! It was a magical time of year to see this property and I loved watching the mist roll off of the mountains and the winter sun lighting up the mossy trees.

This camp is wonderful. Hot showers overlooking the river. A full kitchen to use. A sauna to use. Clean porta potty toilets with a lot of fresh air and dried lavender. We had a campfire 🔥. It was perfect and beautiful. Highly recommend staying here.

2 nights at Cedar Bloom

We love Cedar Bloom! It was our 10th wedding anniversary and we wanted to spend it on this beautiful land. This was our 4th time there and we stayed in the lovely RiverDome! It was so nice to have a cozy fire from the wood stove burning the whole time. Samantha, who lives on site was so lovely and kind. She brought up a bunch of wood for us in the pouring rain and brought us a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the land to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the sauna, the beautiful shower that overlooks the river, and during a break in the rain walked around the property and down to the river with our dogs. We love Cedar Bloom and will be back next year!

Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. Elk Haven Ranch consists of 40 acres at the base of a mountain range that is BLM federal land. There is an elk herd and of course deer on the property. This property is a haven for them, no hunting is allowed. If you are looking to throw a Frisbee with your dog in a forested and meadow setting, without tons of campers right next to you, then this is your place. Room to roam, fresh water April through September and easy access to a common electricity plug-in where you can charge your cell phones and air mattresses on the electric pole by the entry gate. If you are looking to play games, just ask us for the corn hole or horse shoes, or help yourself to the games already out and available. Let us know what your goals are and we will do our best to accommodate for your stay.

Learn more about this land:Pitch Your tent in a beautiful mountain forest with a year-round creek you can kayak and swim. Beautiful Madrone trees. Lots of wildlife. You have access to fire pits and firewood that you can collect off the property however Only when fire season is not in effect. Lots of hiking trails and places to off-road as well if you want to bring your toys along. Located just 9 miles off I-5. there is train tracks close by don’t be alarmed, it goes by at night about once a week so it’s a roll of the dice if you hear it. Though I find it soothing Clickety clack Clickety-clack. There is a few historical sites nearby. Beautiful country but A disclaimer There is poison oak in the forest. working on eradication on my property at least :) until then stick to the paths and designated campsites I will post a picture for a identifier.
