Drift Away Beach Camp

1 site · RV, Tent1 acre · Ocean Park, WA
Park your camper or pitch a tent then Drift Away on this beautiful property. Surrounding trees and natural coastal flora offer SEMI- privacy and a woodsy feel. Only 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to town and beach access! Stop in at Docs for a drink, Okies for Groceries, Eagles Fraternity for a good time and several other restaurants are close by. Go for a drive on the Long Beach peninsula. Only 15 minute drive from the Famous town of Long Beach. Dig some Oysters at the Nahcotta Tidelands, catch a charter for some deep sea fishing or check out the local fish market at Oysterville Sea Farms! The oysters on a half shell and squid salad are to die for! We now offer POWER (50 amp, 30 amp, 120) and water for 3 sites. There is still plenty of room for tents as well! Please note this property is 3/4 gravel for stable RV camping so if you are using tents you will need cots or something heavy duty to keep you comfortable. This space is great for a large group looking for a beachy good time or a small group seeking a private get away! Please be mindful of our neighbors and keep a quiet time of 10pm -8am. Some of our neighbors have dogs...And they sometimes bark...Which I can not control. The camp is also located on a main residential road and people drive on it..Again i can not control how loud the vehicles are or if they backfire. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO SEWER HOOKUPS! Please provide your own toileting accommodations.

Beach RV camping with full hookups near Seaside guide

Overview

It’s all surf and sandy beaches in Seaside, a small village on Oregon’s north coast. When summer strikes, Seaside comes to life with sun-seekers and adventure hounds. Join in the fun—with swimming, paddling, hiking, and family activities; there’s something for everyone.

Close to town, several private RV parks offer a variety of creature comforts, including Wi-Fi and swimming pools. For year-round RV and tent camping, head north to Fort Stevens State Park near Astoria. Swim in the freshwater lake, or head to the ocean to see a historic shipwreck. In the campground, you’ll find hot showers, picnic tables, and sites with full hookups.

About 20 miles east of Seaside, the Saddle Mountain State Natural Area is the perfect place to get away. From your primitive tent site, hike 2.5 miles to the summit for breathtaking views.

After you explore downtown Seaside, hop on the Tillamook Head Trail. This trail, which was once used by Lewis and Clark, runs south toward Cannon Beach. If you’re through-hiking the Oregon Coast, you can camp in the rustic cabins along the way.

The main camping season near Seaside runs from spring through early fall. Cabin rentals are a great way to enjoy the cold, wet fall and winter. The waves are fierce, and the misty mornings add an element of mystery to every hike.
