Peaceful Hills Retreat Campground

34 sites · RVs, Tents97 acres · Centerville, TN
Peaceful Hills Retreat 390 American Way Centerville, TN 37033 (Pleasantville) Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here! Only 14.6 miles from I-40 and located on 97 acres, this campground is surrounded by nature, very secluded and private. There is a crystal-clear creek that runs parallel with the driveway and fresh spring water flowing from pipe in the rock close to the entrance on American Way. The creek is bio-diverse, filled with fascinating species, and spring fed, which means it stays cool in the summertime. There are three beautiful homes which are able to be rented out as well. The A-frame log cabin at the top of the hill is called the lodge. The second home, which is a two-story brown log cabin, is where the host lives. The third home is the cottage. Long before these three homes were built, native Indians lived in these beautiful rolling hills and we have found many arrowheads right around the homes on this property. This is a special place and we are happy and honored to share it with you! Peaceful Hills Retreat, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors and the Honeymoon Cottage makes for the perfect getaway afterwards. At each home you may read a special book called A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC). This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. ASC tremendously helped Jennifer’s family after the loss of their military soldier and Peaceful Hills Retreat donates a portion of their profits to this amazing non-profit. A Soldier’s Child Foundation removed the shame and sadness from our loss and replaced it with hope, honor. and love. A portion of our increase at Peaceful Hills Retreat goes to serve this cause to help other families. To learn more, to donate or to get involved, please visit: asoldierschild.org. If you have any other questions or if you need anything at all during your stay, please text us and we'll be happy to help. Hope to see you soon!

25 years ago, we camped this spot and dreamed of building a house here. The view was so captivating. Needless to say, we’ve been here 20+yrs and still camping our land. Now we are sharing the beautiful landscape and remote feel that's so close to so much to see and do. We love where we are and we think you will too. Oh and I should also mention, you must love dogs. We have 3 plus 2 cats and chickens. Isolated or wide open. 1 tent or group camping. No electricity or water hookups. Free Access to water hose. We do not allow recreational motorized vehicles, firearms or bows. This is a peaceful serene getaway. We also have Airbnb rentals that consist of our home, that's also listed as "Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County", a travel trailer referred to as "Wildwood 17' Western RV and an RV listed as "Boutique RV at Wild Meadows". Murfreesboro Outskirts

1 site · RV8 acres · Murfreesboro, TN
Welcome to our RV site tucked away on this 8-acre rural property located on the outskirts of Northeast Murfreesboro. The graveled parking area measures 60' by 20' and offers a decent amount of privacy and a break from the city. This site is situated off to the side of the front yard in what we call "the triangle." Plus, all bordering neighbors are on acreage which leans into that feeling of privacy. Our single site offers water and electric hookups (50, 30, and 20 amp). We have a dump station on the property located just 200' from the site and we provide a towable dump tank at no additional charge. Additionally, the site includes high-speed WiFi and Ethernet Internet access for your convenience. In the Extras section, we sell firewood and water filters. Additionally, for no charge, we can loan out tools to fix your RV, an air compressor to fill tires, and more! We also have some outdoor games like ring toss. You'll have the entire front yard's approximately three, non-wooded, acres to walk dogs or simply enjoy a stroll. At night, the low light pollution offers amazing views of the sky while deer can often be seen crossing the property. Need to stretch your legs? The driveway is ~1,100 feet long, nearly a quarter mile each way, so feel free to walk up and down it without worrying about street traffic! Door Dash and other food delivery apps service this area. Plus, we're just 15 minutes away from several points of interest in the area, including the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex, MTSU, Stones River National Battlefield, two Greenway entrances, and the equestrian center. You're safety is very important to us! High-resolution security cameras are in use on this property with one that can see the RV site from about 100 yards away. Other cameras can see the entire front yard but none of them are focused on the RV site nor is it our intention to monitor it. * We prefer short term stays of less than 60 consecutive days, however, we are willing to make reasonable exceptions for traveling nurses on assignment and people moving to the area.
