1 night at Middle TN Outdoor Escape

Beautiful property in the country. Everything was exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Her partner came out to help when I dropped my motorcycle and was kind and friendly. Beware that access to the group camping area and showers was slippery and a little steep by motorcycle after a rain but should be fine in an automobile (I was prewarned). I would stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Timbers Homestead

Lauren’s homestead was beautiful and both our hosts were great about communicating and letting us play on the property with our toddler. A unique experience and we would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

2 nights at Belle and Beau Acres

Christine is very kind and communicative. Check-in and check-out was smooth. The campsite was beautiful and provided a tranquil view and sounds of the creek and a wonderful hike to the waterfall on site. We spent a day driving to nearby Cummins Fall State Park for a great experience. The campsite is private and secluded, but a quick drive to nearby convenience stores and some fast food if you forgot something at home or need more supplies. We would love to return. Our kids very much enjoyed the stay as well and it was very pet-friendly.

We love staying here - been to 5 of the sites over the past few years, and they've all been great. It's always refreshing to spend time at Belle & Beau Acres. If you're coming up 111 North, be sure to take the scenic route via O'Connor Rd.

I loved tent camping here. Beautifully maintained property. There were chickens everywhere that were so fun to watch. The bathroom was beautiful. Several fire pits. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Belle and Beau’s acres! The land is easy to navigate thanks to the map provided, and it felt private. We loved walking to the little waterfall on the property. The hosts are wonderful, and I would recommend checking it out!

I stayed here for one night during a cross-country road trip, and it was exactly what I needed—peaceful, quiet, and super convenient! Easy access from I-40, but once you’re on the property it is a peaceful getaway! The location and site felt very safe. There are quite a few walking trails on the property which my dog and I enjoyed. Christine is a wonderful host with great communication. I would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Belle and Beau Acres

10/10 would camp here again. The camp site itself was lovely, very clean and a nice set up. I camped at one of the hike in spots, site 4, the trail down is a bit steep but it’s very short and well marked so not a hassle at all. The entire check in process was easy, parking was convenient and well marked. The host was very communicative and quick to respond. We even had a mink at our camp along with spotting a couple very cute and non venomous snakes! All in all I would highly recommend this place and have nothing but great things to say about it.

2 nights at Sunset Ridge

We had a great time camping at Sunset Ridge lot 3. There are some houses and shops/garages in viewing distance of all of the spots but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again. We had plenty of space to set up tents and play lots of games. We were able to pull the car right up to the spot which was nice. Daniel was very friendly and reached out to us to letting us know where we could get firewood. We felt very safe and would stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Quarter Spring Farm

Heather was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed before we camped. The site had a wonderful view all around, The dome was very homie and welcoming. We also decided to purchase the goat walk. I believe this is a must as you walk 30+ goats up to a pasture in the hills. Definitely a unique experience that I recommend to everyone.

1 night at Elk Head Overlook

Amazing view, beautiful remote spot. Uphill but not too far, we hauled a 20 ft camper with an old truck and I was relieved it wasn't too far up the mountain. If driving a larger RV you should be more experienced in backing up and if sleeping in a tent you should bring strong stakes and a sleeping pad. It is rocks unless you go to the lower tent site, which is dirt. This stay was wonderful and I highly recommend.

5 nights at Mountainview Rock Island rv/tent

Our entire family LOVED this spot. The view is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting around the fire at night and soaking up the sun during the day. The hammock was a favorite as well. The host is wonderful and very responsive. This might be our favorite spot of all time and we have already recommended it to family and friends. It was the perfect way to spend spring break. This was a great location to visit multiple local waterfalls. We will be back!

Very peaceful. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Stayed for two night for my daughter’s birthday. The spring within walking distance is so beautiful and the kids loved swimming in it. The fire pit was really nice and relaxing. Grills were really clean and easy to use. Keith was very nice and very helpful. Very relaxing at night absolutely in love with it perfect for couples trying to get away!!!

Great clean spot. View was magnificent. Incredibly detailed instructions from the owner. Close to the road but the noise didn't bother us at all. Easy access with a small hill. Site was level enough to strategically park my truck without using leveling blocks. Outhouse was clean and well appointed. FYI site 1 has a slightly better view of the valley. Me and my kid loved it, we'll be back.

Water is visible from most campsites. There is only one path currently to the water. But new paths are welcome to anyone who wants to make a shorter path from there campsite to the water. Near Fall Creeks Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls all within Driving distance. Literature is available at office for local entertainment and things to see and do in the area. WIldwood Marina is just across the lake with great food entertainment and Pontoons for rent.

Specific Details: **Please note the address is 9665 SR 50, Pelham, TN 37301** You can see the sites from the main road, different maps (Google/Apple/etc.) show slight variations such as 9665 SR-50 or 9665 TN-50. If you find yourself on a gravel road for more than 50ft, STOP and verify the address. There is an electrical box at each end of the graveled parking area (Sites 1 and 2) with 20- and 30-amp plugs, plus 110v. If the power is not working, please check the panel and turn on/reset the breakers, many of our guests turn them off when departing. If you are at Site #2 and the steps above do not work, please check/do the same at the Site #1 panel (it is the master power source). Water is NOT available on site. NOTE: Depending on the time of year (warmer months only) a water container with a limited amount of NON-POTABLE water is on site for your use. Please plan on filling your water reservoir(s) PRIOR to arriving at the site. There is an outhouse for all guests, and picnic tables and fire rings for Sites 1 and 2. We are located just minutes away from The Caverns, South Cumberland State Park, Bigfoot Adventures, and many other outdoor attractions and hiking opportunities. The graveled camping area is fairly close to SR-50 so please expect to hear some road noise, more so in the winter months. The entrance/driveway is on a small incline, if you are traveling with a light vehicle and a heavy camper, its best to maintain a slow and steady speed to the camp site (for almost everyone, this is not an issue). If you are towing a camper, we recommend the total length of the vehicle and the trailer not exceeding 30ft, longer set ups can (and have been used) without issue. However, there is not a significant place to "turn around" at the sites and novice drivers (not used to backing out of tight spots with long rigs) may find this very challenging. Need firewood? Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to arrival and we will attempt to coordinate having it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35. This is a 3rd party service and not always available, please be proactive and plan accordingly. There is a double gate that is usually closed, and latched so it stays closed, it is not "locked". The site is self-serve (not manned), Site #1 is to the left, Site #2 is to the right, and Site #3 is down the path past the outhouse at the bottom of the path. It is recommended that campers set up early for Site 3 (still daylight) to get an idea of the layout. Parking for Site #3 is by the shed at the main entrance and power is not available at the site.

Chatty Heifer Farm

The family we bought the farm from owned and farmed it since 1900. They built a cabin then and built a house around the cabin in 1920. We bought it in 2018 and have been renovating it to build a retreat center for first responders and others who serve unselfishly. Little Bone Cave campground is in the mountains of Tennessee with hiking trails and a beautiful view located on 16 acres. This campground adjoins Bone Cave State Natural Area located in Van Buren County. Big Bone Cave is a 400 acre natural area with trails and a cave that contained bones of a giant ground sloth discovered in 1811 and is maintained by Rock Island State Park. The cave is not currently open to the public. Rock Island State Park (swimming, fishing and hiking) is only 6 miles from the campground and Fall Creek Falls State Park (swimming, fishing, hiking and home of the Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival) is a beautiful 25 mile drive through the winding roads and mountains of Van Buren county. A public boat ramp maintained by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is two miles away to access the Caney Fork River. Come enjoy with friends and family. Campsite #1, "Valley View" is a Rv with 30 amp electric with sewer and water or it can be a primitive campsite that is a wide open space and is approximately 1-2 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. We do have electric, sewer and water 340 gl tank with a hose, a picnic table and a fire ring at this site. if you'd prefer, you can locate a spot of your choosing off the beaten path anywhere within our 16 acres (ask the hostess for details). We now have rv hook up with a 30 amp electric service, sewer and water available. We have wildlife such as bobcats, coyotes, deer, owls, snakes, turkeys and rumor has it, maybe even a bigfoot. Located at 245 Durham St in McMinnville, the property covers 8 acres with frontage on the Barren Fork River. There is river access directly behind Smooth Rapids Grill and a short walk from the campground. We sell fire wood. We have a climate controlled bathhouse on site with restrooms and hot showers. Tent sites 14,15,16,17, and 18 have regular 15 amp electrical hookups. The other tent sites are primitive. Travel Trailers and RVs will not fit in tent sites. Camper Vans or Small Pop Up Campers can use tent sites as long as the electrical consumption does not exceed 15 amps. All of RV sites have 30/50 amp electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station near the entrance to the campground for gray and black tanks. RV dump service is available for a fee if you would rather us handle that for you. Quarter Spring Farm

Quarter Spring Farm is located in Liberty, TN on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. It comprises 63 acres of wooded ridges and hollows with exceptional hiking and distinct landscape features. Smith Fork Creek, which feeds Center Hill Lake, is visible from the campsite. Quarter Spring Farm’s history is murky and still being discovered. The house is over 100 years old. There are stone property walls that may predate the civil war. We believe this site was a Mississippian period settlement because of the large amount of artifacts we have found. Please note: there is no electricity at the dome. There will be a battery with a light and the option to charge your phone. There is no parking at the dome. The walk is uphill and takes about 5 minutes or so. This is still a tent, the dome is not insulated and is not 100% sealed. Bugs do get inside from time to time. I will also provide you with water for cleaning and at least a gallon to drink. Just let me know if you need more. If you can get here before it gets dark, that is the best. If you can’t, that’s ok, we’ll just be hiking in the dark. Luckily I know my way around pretty good.
