1 night at Zion View Campsite

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The tent cabin was nice and clean (and cooled down). The fire pits and the social area were really enjoyable. I loved the fact that they had BBQs and fire pits at each location with a very reasonably priced supply of fire wood and ice. The people we interacted with who worked in there were also polite, super helpful and friendly. Definitely a thumbs up from me and my wife…our dog enjoyed it too!

This campsite is a gem 💎 The view was amazing, especially at night. The host was very nice and always checking out on us if we need anything. Restrooms and showers are well maintained. The tent zipper was broken we did mentioned it to the host, but we just dealt with it. Spiders happen to get inside out tent but overall. I would definitely recommend it! 💯

2 nights at Teardrop Arch B&B

The cabin was clean and cozy, with a space heater that kept us comfortably warm. It's in a quiet, scenic location with a beautiful sunrise. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions, and the host was friendly and responsive via text. Breakfast was simple, with bread and cereal provided. We didn’t cook, but guests are allowed to use the kitchen. The guest bathroom was clean, well-stocked with towels, and we never had to wait to use it—only one other guest was staying there during our visit. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the property felt safe. There were a few friendly outdoor dogs and a cat around. One standout detail: the main house is heated with a wood or charcoal stove, which made it feel extra warm and gave the space a cozy, inviting scent.

Location, location, location! Stunning view with incredible sunset. Tear drop arch is on their property, meaning you can hike it from the backyard. There are multiple dogs around, which can be a challenge if you bring one yourself. Place is exactly as described, a little more spacious than anticipated and with hot coffee in the morning. You will have access to the bathroom in their house and there is also an outhouse close to the cabin.

7 nights at The Needles Outpost Campground

My family loved camping at Needles Outpost. We stayed here for nearly a week. This is a very special place nestled next to red rocks with a view of Canyonlands NP - Needles District. The campground is generally very quiet and seems to attract considerate campers looking for a peaceful retreat. Best of all, the Needles Outpost has flush toilets, and showers! A real treat to be able to rinse off after a day of hiking. They also have a cute little store with basic supplies, ice, drinks, ice cream, fuel, gifts, etc. This place creates a nice feeling of a dispersed campsite but with several added benefits. We will be coming back! Thank you Amber and Caleb for your warm hospitality!

2 nights at Teardrop Arch B&B

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ilene's cabin. Ilene is a very gracious host. The cabin is cozy, the bed comfortable, and the view is amazing. There is an outhouse, but Ilene welcomes you to use her guest bathroom whenever you need to. She also offered up her microwave and stove in case we wanted to prep any food. She serves breakfast in her kitchen in the morning. Goulding's is just 5 mins up the road and serves good food and has a gas station and grocery store. The View Hotel is maybe 10 mins away and also has a restaurant but only serves non-hotel guests until 7 pm. Waking up in the morning to views of Monument Valley is priceless. Book this now. It is a quiet retreat away from the busy hotels in the area.

Wonderful! We had a great stay. Very beautiful, peaceful place. I liked the little general store for snacks & camping supplies. Loved having a shower too. It's clear Amber works very hard to run this campground. One thing to note is that not all the campsites necessarily have a level place to pitch a tent. It wasn't that big of a deal, we made it work. Just plan accordingly.

Danny is the kindest, most genuine man I’ve ever had the pleasure to spend a couple of days with. His campsite and property are truly beautiful. He has infinite wisdom and great story to share. Ringo the dog, Hazel the goat, Paco the Alpaca, and the rest of his animals are all so fun to hang out with too. He was so hospitable and friendly. Truly the best campsite I’ve ever stayed at.

Indian Canyon Ranch is a rugged, isolated, off grid property which focuses on enjoying the outdoor beauty of our little corner of the spectacular American South West. Please be advised, that during heavy rain four-wheel drive may be necessary but in all cases low clearance vehicles are not ideal on the last section of road but if you arrive before dark and go slow any vehicle can make it. If you arrive after dark the last bit of road looks more challenging than it actually is due to shadows on the surface caused by the head lights. Units are not heated. Please plan to show up before dark for the best experience and ease of finding the location. Indian Canyon Ranch is proud to be an independent, off grid property with limited solar power and water available. There are no RV hook ups available but there is limited solar power in the rental units and in the communal area but not in the primitive campsites. Campsites are primitive camping only. Showers in the main communal area are solar powered and only hot with the sun and for an hour or so after sunset Joe purchased this property in 2008. At that time, it was 8 acres, and it is now at 20 acres continuous property. The ranch is situated 2 miles off the highway down a bumpy dirt road on the edge of the national forest, this gives you a feeling of being in the wilderness. The south and east sides are boarded by canyons and ruins. All other private properties in the area are 10 acres or more so are well spread out and sparsely populated. All the structures on site were brought here piece by piece and were salvaged from construction projects in Yosemite and Grand Canyon national parks. Water is manually hauled in and the power in the kitchen area is solar generated so please be conscious of water and power use.

Like most cowboy cabins, it does not have its own plumbing, but our famously clean private restrooms with showers are just a 50ft walk. This land has been in our family for four generations to graze our herd of sheep. We renovated our camps to provide a comfortable glamping space to those who want a one-of-a-kind experience in the backcountry. One of our best features is the solitude and exposure to Mother Nature. Here, you won't find quiet hours, disruptive campers, or noise and light pollution. These sites provide the ultimate experience for those willing to go off the grid, off the main road, and into the backcountry. This space is where the tourist crowds disappear and the rugged, raw beauty appears. As the crow flies, the property is just over three miles from the east boundary of Zion National Park. This land is where our family calls home and has been in the Lundgren family for four generations. It is still used for agriculture purposes today. In early June, you may see sheep grazing in the nearby meadows and mid-to-late summer, cows roam the area adding to the uniqueness of the experience. This part of the country is home to textured red rock, blue skies, and numerous desert flora and fauna, making it an ideal spot for photographers. Some of the animals you might spot include owl, bear, mountain lion, bobcat, deer, coyote, turkey, snakes, lizards, as well as many different types of birds. There is very little light pollution making the night sky dazzling and unforgettable.
