1 night at Utah's inland ocean

It was very quiet and vast. Lots of space. Was able to watch Chris feed the fish in the morning. It was a good spot to rest and recharge.

We camped in our Class B van with our corgi. Lynn was so nice and we chatted with her for a while and learned about the place and all she was doing. She was very helpful and we felt right at home. We had a great night's sleep and Lynn made us coffee and tea in the morning and gave us eggs for our trip down to Moab.

The stay was amazing! It’s relatively secluded, definitely had privacy! It was a last minute booking and the host handled everything very helpfully and timely! The creek/river was a nice surprise, it did a good job covering any nearby noise!

Great spot in a great area! Staff up front are super friendly and helpful, respectful of your time. The owner makes and sells sourdough bread in the office sometimes, I bought a loaf and it was awesome. Store up front is great. Nearest town is full of great stores. Residents are very quiet. It is right near an air force base where fighter jets practice. Cool to watch! Nothing in the RV parks control obviously but if you have a dog sensitive to noise you might want to know about the sonic booms ahead of time.

RIVER BEND CAMP GROUND

ENTRANCE TO OUR PROPERTY IS STRAIGHT NORTH AT THE END OF THE PAVEMENT. PLEASE DO NOT TURN LEFT ON SESSION LANE! We have ten acres that our home sit on but about 9 acres that consist of dry farm grass. We use 1 acre for camping and parking. The Weber river runs across the back of our property where we have a campground with tables and firepits. This is a family campground. We do not have Electrical Power or Water hookups. We have added 4 wooden porta potty enclosed in small tents which we service every day or as needed. Site selection is determined by type of sleeping accommodations. We have two tent areas and 1 RV spot. Sometimes we can accommodate more RV's on a exception basis **We allow 2 adults per site and/or 2 adults and minor children per site. (Family Exceptions must be approved) We are not a public campground and only list through Hipcamp and so our property is posted with NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. It is very important to let us know your approximate arrival time and call when you arrive. We will guide you down to the campgrounds and show you the best spots base on your type of camping. (Sleeping in trailers or van's versus tent campers) One draw back to our property is that we are within 1/2 mile of a well use highway (US 84) and railroad track. We have only had one camper who was concerned about the noise. Here at the house we don't notice it and maybe we are just use to it. Limited swimming and use of paddle board based on river conditions. Fishing is limited because we are on private property and the river is not stocked by the Utah fish and game. So, we are dependent on normal reproduction of the fish. Fly fishing being the best however you can use lures but not bait of any kind . We would prefer catch and release. ALL UTAH FISHING REGULATION APPLY. WE HAVE INDICATED WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE. THE WHOLE AREA IS BASICLLY LEVEL AND GRASS AND BARK COVERED.

You are welcome to walk our Custom Labyrinth. You are free to wander the fields, gardens and orchards. When the garden is in bloom, help yourself... Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. Picnic tables are provided at tent sites and at the Grumpy Dragon. WIFI is available at the Grumpy Dragon as well as at your camp site... Help your self to muffins, breakfast bars, beverages and fresh fruit. A refrigerator is outside for cold water and frozen water bottles. Coffee, tea and Hot chocolate is always available. WIFI is available at the for an outdoor Cafe... Your devices should be able to pick up a strong signal. 5 G and 2.4...( 2 different pass words are provided) Our Farmhouse on the Ranch has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1991 You can book a guest room inside the Farmhouse...A 5th wheel trailer, our B & B.
