Yeah! Spring is here and Summer is around the corner! Making plans for the family, a group of friends, or a romantic getaway, perhaps a bike tour or trip across New England? Art and Health Chill Camping will exceed your expectations. A hot sauna to a pottery class, sacred geometry gardens with pathways through the pollinator gardens all lead to diverse camp sites for tents hammocks, vans and even a school bus or small rv. The Hive Design.us cabins, rustic cabin, or bedroom also offer queen beds. Common space includes wifi, a kitchen with frig access, full bath, and living room and with deck. The Milky Way, fireflies, and beauty surround you as well as the lack of noise and light pollution. Be prepared to be "experience how extraordinary the ordinary is!" Organic Certified veggies, herbs, medicinal s, and edible flowers are available, throughout the season. I have approximately 70 varieties foraged and planted. I am developing a garden of dyeing flowers, as well. Art classes and materials are available, for pottery [ beginner to advanced.] as well as sketching, fabric dyeing, plen air, or making mandalas. I do have leather tools, sewing machines, and stained glass. Bring your project or try a new one. Lots of space in the common barn area for group lesson, or set up a spot and enjoy all by yourself! Cabot has lots to offer for day trips, be it water sports, rail trail on bikes or walking, music, and cultural events, or purchasing fresh milk, beef, eggs, apples, cheese, or homemade breads, all from Cabot. Contra Dance, music from Cabot Arts, or at the Den our local pub, are 2 miles away. The Bread and Puppet, Highland Center for the Arts, Barre Oprah house, art galleries, etc within an hour drive in any direction. A great place for children, I have swings and trees to climb, games, archaeological digs, scavenger hunts finding 10 different antique farm implements, and learning how they were used, to learning about mini microbe's and how to be friends with pollinators. Massage including scar release, and MPS, Cranial Release, energy work with tuning forks and singing bowls are available. Singing bowl concert in the gardens can also happen! Expect the unexpected! See you soon!

Mt Baker Tiny Cabin

1 site · Lodging3 acres · Saranac Lake, NY
This off-the-grid tiny house is nestled on a 23 acre parcel at the end of a quarter-mile dirt road. The property itself is secluded but is less than 2 miles from the heart of Saranac Lake's downtown. This property is bordered by the Saranac River, the backside of Baker Mountain and State Forest. The only other building on the property is our timberframe which we may or may not be at during the time of your visit. The property does have private trails up to the cliffs on the backside of Baker mtn however, the Saranac River is down a steep embankment so it does not make for a good place to launch a boat (several public boat launches nearby). The Mt Baker tiny house is a great basecamp for hiking the Saranac Lake 6-ers, paddling/boating along the Saranac Chain of lakes or Saranac River, Mountain Biking at Dewey, Pisgah or other nearby BETA trails. IMPORTANT DETAILS: This tiny cabin is completely off the grid: no electricity, heat or cooling. Queen sized bed - we provide the linens. The driveway is narrow - so nothing in tow. Drinking water is provided via jug and dispenser. There is a brand new outhouse (no flushable toilet) We have a designated spot for campfires (smores are a must) There is an older propane grill outside for guest use

Artsy Tiny Home near LVRT

1 site · Lodging7 acres · Cambridge, VT
About this space The super cute tiny home, "The Hut," is filled with natural light, Balinese art, and antique chairs. This spot is ideal for 1-2 people looking for a nice space to sleep after a day of adventure via hiking, skiing, or sightseeing. Please note this hut is also my office and is only available Thursday-Monday each week. The calendar may not reflect that accurately. The hut sits on 7 acres at the end of a private dirt road shared with our log home, ducks, a dog and 2 cats. There are 3 ski resorts (Smuggs, Stowe, and Jay Peak), biking, hiking, and endless local breweries within a 10-60 minute drive. The space Read the entire listing thoroughly, as it is a unique stay. We live on a dead-end private dirt road, but it is like a small neighborhood. We use organic, natural, unscented, or lightly scented organic essential oils for cleaning and washing. No chemical air fresheners, cleaners, or detergents were used. There is a new and clean composting outhouse for your use (year-round), with a wash basin and a cedar outdoor shower with hot water in the warmer months (approximately May/October). In the winter, if you stay three or more nights, we can pre-arrange for a shower in our home. Guest access We ask you to respect our privacy, but we are happy to chat as we run into each other and are available with any questions you may have. The hut is located on the opposite side of our driveway at the end of our private dirt road; however, there are five dwellings at the end of the road. It has its carved-out spot but is not entirely private. As homesteaders, we often have projects, such as building fences, improving our dwellings in some way, gardening…. Etc Our private dirt road is a great place to walk, and it has access to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. In the winter, there are trails behind our house. Other things to note Heating and Cooling: Our heat pump provides heat and AC; it is very easy and efficient. We also have a super cute tiny wood stove for the winter months. Kitchen: We provide an electric kettle for tea, coffee, and drinking water. There is also a mini fridge to store items. There is no place to cook or wash dishes. Cell Service and WiFi: Verizon cell service works well, though ATT does not, and the WiFi is spotty. We have an epic location!: 2 minutes to downtown Jeffersonville- The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (biking and walking path), The Farm Store (coffee, baked goods, some groceries), 158 Main (breakfast!), The Tavern (pub food), Bootlegger Bikes (Matt's shop w/ bike rentals) plus more! 10 minutes to Smugglers Notch- hiking, skiing, waterpark, ziplining. 25 minutes to Stowe in summer and 45 in winter- The Alchemist, incredible food and drink, hiking, skiing, ziplining, shopping. 45 minutes to Burlington- Awesome food and drink, many breweries, shopping, waterfront biking and walking, plus the airport. 45 minutes to Waterbury- Ben and Jerry's Factory and Cold Hollow Cider Mill 40 minutes to Jay Peak- hiking, skiing, waterpark. 25 minutes to Morrisville- MOCO Food Coop, Lost Nation Brewing, North Country Cakes, & Thompson's Flour Shop 15 Minutes to Johnson- home of Vermont State University-Johnson and The Vermont Studio Center Driving Here: Summer is no problem for any vehicle, but once snow falls (~November-April), AWD, 4WD, and studded tires are NECESSARY to climb our steep hill.
