3 nights at Harmony Tree Farm

We loved camping here, the fire pit and benches were great, and there was a nearby table for prepping food. Matthew was very friendly and the beach at the river was an enjoyable little adventure. Definitely would visit again.

Second stay. Very nice. River is a 5 minute hike. The bluebells were out this last time. Shenandoah River Park is my favorite for hikes, so did a day trip there. Skyline Drive is less than an hour —-if you can plan it for sunrise or sunset you will be awestruck. Sunset at the camp’s river was pretty. There’s a couple of owls in residence—I enjoyed listening to them on both trips.

Site 4 was perfect for little ones! The water isn’t too deep there. We loved our first camping trip!

Graham was a great host. His site was just as advertised and away from other campers at other sites. He provided pre-cut firewood at the site at a great price. He made one trip down to check on us and answer some questions and was always responsive to communication. It’s a nice quiet spot by the river, perfect for any group looking for a site with no amenities, just a picnic table, firewood, and the sounds of a stream.

Matt’s Tree Farm is wonderful - wooded site with a pristine port-o-potty and plenty of firewood. The wood table is perfect for cooking, and the log benches around the fire pit complete the forest vibe. It’s only a short walk to the water, a nice place to spend the afternoon in the sun. Looking forward to booking in for the summer weather and swimming!

I’ve been to all the other sites here, and this is the first time I stayed at site #1. Probably the best view out of the 4. Private, lots of space, good signal. I set up my shelter facing the river and it was amazing.

Gracious host, excellent site. 5/5, double thumbs up, highly recommend it. Harmony Tree Farm is a great place to test new camping gear. The site features a stone firepit, thee log benches, a spot to process firewood, and a workstation table. It's awesome. There's a wide array of safe locations to place your tent (no widow-makers). There aren't any ridiculous gravel plots or hideous wooden decks. Matthew has done a beautiful job preserving the natural world while making it accessible. Down the hill, back and around the property, there's an access trail to the Hazel River, where you can walk out onto the sand flats for fishing.

Matt was great! We came in late and he went out of his way to plow some snow around the campsite to make it more accessible. We enjoyed the site and the overall area. Definitely worth visiting !

A slice of paradise tucked into the hills of the valley and nestled up against the Shenandoah river with private access. Neighboring Muse vineyards, the state park and a 3 min drive to town. It's the perfect getaway and also an excellent hub to loads of fun nearby. If you're interested in renting it out privately and throwing a weekend fiesta, let me know. It's perfect for that. Or if you just prefer the sound and serenity of nature, also perfect. Mid September is when the PawPaw's are ripe and readily falling from the trees, booking during these times grants you access to the one of nature's best kept secrets, the Paw Paw fruit. You won't find them in stores but you can graze for them here. They make a delicious second breakfast Come enjoy. I'm always in the process of making and clearing more campsites around the property. For anyone interested in earning a little extra stay time please ask about helping me clear and working for some compensated time. As everyone who contributes something will be earning a place here in the heart of the farm. It's magical and I hope to share the magic with all who wish to behold. All walks of life are welcomed.
