Nestled at the foothills of Mount Rainier, we are a serene farm only 45 miles away from Seattle, 36 min drive away from the Mt Rainier Carbon River entrance, 1 hour from the Crystal Mountain Resort, 1 hour 30 minutes from the Sunrise Visitor Center. I live here part-time with my partner who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now located on Whidbey Island). We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go! AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO: -There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to all guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a mini kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances available not limited to but including a Mr. Coffee Expresso and Cappuccino Coffee Maker, toaster oven, Instant Pot Duo Crisp 11-in-1 (8 Quart), cooktop, outdoor propane oven, traeger for grilling and smoking etc. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them! -We have a wellness yurt on site with a Somassage therapy room (package add-on session available to purchase during your stay, message me for any questions or details if interested). -There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt as an add-on. -Enjoy wandering around the farm and grabbing fruit daily from the trees when in season or picking farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast. Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup. -Communal fire pit area with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. -WIFI is available upon request. LOCATION: 2 miles from downtown Buckley with Blue Max Meats and the Rainier Fresh Country Store for a quick trip down the road for groceries and less than 15 minute drive to Enumclaw with more restaurant options available and Bonney Lake also 15 minutes away with Target, Costco, Fred Meyers etc. We will happily point you out to our favorite places to eat and grab coffee around here, just ask! While we have added modern touches throughout, Retro cabin is an absolutely pristine retro masterpiece, and you will love it. You will back to 50's time! The kitchen of the cabin is amazing, equipped with new Classic style appliances, you will enjoy having meals at our retro diner table. Bring your favorite vinyl records to play at our 50's record player. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish place. Naches RV Resort located 20 min from Yakima, WA. Its brand-new resort with beautiful mountain views, clubhouse and swimming pool are still under construction. We got Tennis ball play area, kids' playground, dogs unleased running area. The cabin build in 2023 and its 400sft but feels spacious, we got 2 queen size beds (very comfortable). One bedroom on the main level and 2nd on the top loft (fun for kids). Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave, tea pot. We use propane gas for a stove, new pots and pans for guests to use. On the porch you will find retro cooler for your coke and beers (bring ice). Cabin equipped with a/c/heater unit, there is Wi-Fi available. We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20). Our Outdoor activities: -The cooler season brings fun-filled times of snow & amp, recreation for the whole family. From skiing to snowshoeing, then come warm up in Retro cabin White Pass is only 45 minutes away. -Naches RV Resort is in the heart of a hunter's paradise, offering big game hunting of elk, deer, and even big horn sheep, as well as birds, waterfowl. -Some of WA State’s premier rock climbing and mountaineering destinations are within minutes of Naches RV Resort. -120 wineries and five American Viticulture Areas (AVA’s) provide MUCH to explore for the wine enthusiast.
