Come say hello to our mini pigs, alpacas, hens, ducks and barn kitties. The farm is also host to an array of wildlife including: Great Blue Heron, eagles, owls, and deer. We are located minutes from I-5 and less than two hours from Seattle and Vancouver, Canada. Mount Baker National Forest and North Cascade National Park are both a short drive away. Additionally Lazy H Farms is only a few miles from the coast and there is lots to see and do in Skagit County! THINGS TO DO NEARBY- Right across HWY 9 there are water activities at Big Lake, hiking and gorgeous views at Little Mountain, and swimming at Clear Lake. There are plenty of local trails nearby to explore. In downtown Mount Vernon you can walk the outdoor promenade along the Skagit River, get takeout from local restaurants and coffee shops, or visit unique downtown shops. Please note this is a working farm with working dogs protecting our livestock 24/7 and you may hear a few barks upon your arrival. Walk bike or drive to one of our local restaurants beaches or parks or take the ferry for easy access to the city and amazing views. 9Mile Farm hybrid Tipi experience may not be for everyone if you are uneasy without strong wifi, room service, a roof over your head, a lock on a door, early morning farm noises, or really nature this may not be your cup of tea. Please understand that the farm is undergoing constant improvements & various projects may be underway during your visit. We try to keep it tidy but realistically that just isn't always possible. Take a short day trip to Roslyn, WA most noted for the filming of the Northern Exposure series. Roslyn was founded in 1886 as a coal mining company town. During the 20th century, the town gradually transitioned away from coal, and today its economy is primarily based on forestry and tourism. Don't forget to visit The Roslyn Cafe and The Brick. Another fun day trip is to Snoqualmie Falls one of Washington state's most popular scenic attractions. Approximately 45 minute drive from Easton. More than 1.5 million visitors come to the Falls every year. At the falls, you will find a two-acre park, gift shop, observation deck, the Salish Lodge and the famous 270 foot waterfall.
