Wonderful place to stay! This calm, creative, and cute piece of paradise is the perfect place to stay for a while. The property is private and safe, the animals are adorable and funny, and Jerilyn was incredibly communicative and gave wonderful recommendation. Great place to explore the nearby biking trail and rainbow falls state park. Rv hook ups worked and there was a really nice bathroom with shower. Also has creek/river access! Host was nice and came by to make sure we had the lay of the land. Highly recommend

Weekend Trip to RV+ Rainbow Falls / Willapa Trails

We stayed in spot #4 in the grass at RV+ Rainbow Falls / Willapa Trails, and it was a fantastic trip! The grassy site gave us an incredible view of the night sky—stars were out in full force, and we spent hours just soaking it in. The RV spots were extremely wide, which made setting up super easy and gave us plenty of room to spread out. We loved hiking the trails on the property—they were a blast for us and our dogs, who couldn’t get enough of them. Along the way, we spotted deer, a small snake, and even a beautiful trillium bloom in the forest, which felt like a little gift from nature. Dunn Creek runs through the property, and we could hear it from our campsite, adding such a peaceful vibe. The whole farm was clean and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Dan, the host, was awesome. He stopped by twice to check on us, always with a smile, and he’s seriously knowledgeable about the forest—answered all our questions like a pro. He made us feel right at home and was a huge part of why we enjoyed our stay so much. It was a great spot for our dogs too—they thrived out there on the trails. All in all, a top-notch place to park the RV and unwind. We’d definitely come back—thanks, Dan, for being such a great host!

This place was great for a good time together, the hosts are friendly and welcoming. Birds singing, a walk along a forest path with amazing clean air give you a boost of energy. Thanks to Diana for a cozy place.

My family of four (including a six year old) had a good time. There are sheep in a meadow and we enjoyed being stared at placidly by them. The composting toilet was delightfully clean and tidy. Though it was a cold and rainy night, the fireplace kept us warm and the yurt stayed dry. The yurt was very spacious. The things on the inside were very cool: a zodiac poster and chimes with a mallet. A very peaceful spot. And new gravel made the driveway easy to back out of! Thanks!

This was such a lovely little slice of tranquility among the hustle and bustle of the city. We really enjoyed our stay. It was short and sweet and Gabrielle made sure we had everything we needed. And the animals were an added smile. Our kids loved them. Thank you for sharing your farm with us!

Weekend Trip to Elkenmist

We had a fantastic time! My partner and I stayed in the yurt to celebrate my birthday. The yurt was clean and private. The wood stove kept us super toasty and the mattress was comfortable. The property has a handy outdoor kitchen and dining area. We also took the farm tour and got to hang out with the baby sheep and rabbits. We also made use of the sauna which was the perfect contrast to the rainy spring weather. The property is stunning and incredibly serene, there are tons more f trails to explore. We left feeling rejuvenated. Den and Max were both incredibly friendly and made our stay easy and enjoyable. We can’t wait to go back!!

Weekend Trip to Elkenmist

My partner and I had an amazing time here for her birthday, I think our biggest regret was not having more time to explore more of the trails around the property. The yurt was very well built, stayed warm with the stove, and was very large for two people and two dogs. The single sleeping mat was surprisingly comfortable and the outhouse was only a short walk from the front doors. Den was extremely kind and helpful in making sure the stay was successful and fun, and the farm tour with Max was great as we were able to meet a lot of baby sheep and rabbits, and we were met with answers to all of our many questions. The location is far enough out that you hear and see a lot of nature, but centrally located enough that we were able to explore both the Washington and Oregon coast easily! The shared outdoor kitchen offers enough amenities that you shouldn’t have any problems making food, the wood fired sauna was an excellent addition, and the outdoor shower is just a few steps away from the sauna and kitchen making everything fairly central. We had such a fun time and we look forward to our next stay!

We had a great stay on Gabrielle’s farm - it was the perfect spot to visit Portland whilst in our RV. The amenities ensured we were very comfortable and we loved the cool, quirky site - not to mention our neighbouring goats and turkeys! Shawn met me on arrival, helped me position my rv on the site and get hooked up with electricity and water. Clean, level, attractive camp site. Directions accurate and easy to follow. Beautiful property, friendly and welcoming host, would highly recommend and would book again!

Jerilyn was a great communicator and made the check in process easy. The property was quiet at night and a restful place for us to stay while we visited family in the area. There is a water hook up and 20 amp electric. There is a septic available to use. We will definitely come back again.

2 nights at Oh-Deer-Me

Nice spot with easy access from I-5 and options for RV or tent or car campers. The hosts are friendly and they make a point to meet you and let you know the layout. There’s an outside bathroom with shower right below the tree fort. The property is very close to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge so I spent one day over there and saw almost 40 different species of birds.

1 night at Lavender Farm

We loved our short stay at Everett’s farm! It was quiet, serene, and easy to find. Plus Everett was lovely and super warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to return when the lavender is in bloom! Our only note to others booking is that you should plan to arrive in the light if you’ll be towing or need to maneuver anything substantial. It’s dark out there, which is super lovely — once you’re set up! Also note that Site 1 and Site 2 are directly next to each other in case you’re looking for privacy. The camping area is nowhere near the rescue and it does not give you access to the animals. If you would like a tour, please contact us prior to arrival and we will try to accommodate. Our 45 acre parcel is "no frills camping" 15 minutes from Interstate 5. We are one hour from Mt Rainer and one hour and fifteen minutes from Mt Saint Helens. The camping area is an old christmas tree farm. We maintain several spots for camping. We have one porta-potty shared between campsites. Each campsite has one picnic table, fire-ring and access to a porta-potty. The area is quiet and secluded. Black-tailed Columbian deer are regular visitors, while the barn owls will serenade you in the evening. You will be able to see ALL the stars! The road is suitable for small RVs, campervans, truck camping, small school buses, and even cars (as long as the cars have some ground clearance). Not suitable for Class A RVs. It is an old logging road made of compacted rock. Cell service is OK. Upload/download speeds might be slow.

Our 20-acre property features densely-forested mountainside trails, a seasonal creek and pond, with a variety of hardwood and evergreen trees. Surrounded on three sides by Christmas tree farms, our farm is the last bit of wilderness left in the area. Only an hour from Mt. Ranier’s legendary winter sports, with hiking, fishing and festivals all both here and nearby, our farm provides a perfect Base Camp for your any-season getaway! Your campsite has 15a power and water, and gravel parking, and is located by the beautiful Western style brown barn at the end of Naylor Road (at the "End of County Road" sign). Note that the site has been leveled but is NOT perfectly level; it is however within the typical leveling ability of RVs at the size limits stated. The farm is located on a steep hillside (12% grade); there is only so much we can do. But the stunning views more than make up for any inconvenience, in our experience. Ovis Aries is the scientific name for “domestic sheep”, and indeed, we raise Romney sheep of all colors on our farm! You may also meet our sweet and friendly Morgan Horse mare, Naya, who likes to follow visitors around like a very large dog. We also have a small orchard with apples, persimmons, cherries, blueberries, and a pear, peach and almond tree beside the barn. We farm using organic, no-till, permaculture, silvopasture and forest grazing practices, and the sheep are entirely grass-fed, producing meat of the healthiest-possible quality. If fiber arts is your jam, we have a beautiful wool workshop, with a 40" 4-shaft, 6-harness Louet Hollandia floor loom, a 32" Harp rigid heddle loom, 5 spinning wheels, a drum carder, and numerous other fiber tools for scouring, prepping, spinning, dyeing, weaving, felting and knitting wool. RV+ Rainbow Falls / Willapa Trails

(This is a leave no trace site. You must take all of your garbage with you!) Just 1.5 hours from Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 3 minutes from Rainbow Falls State Park and 4 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate. Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds. We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events. 6 mi from Jones Creek Brewing, 7 mi from Evey's Cafe & Pe Ell, 20 mi from I-5, 69 mi Westport Quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am.

The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pleasant Places

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups, and in order to keep the camp private, larger groups are given priority. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp you will find a rustic kitchen, two 6' picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is also a resource area where you will find an electrical outlet, a water hose, five gallon jugs, bundled firewood, fresh eggs/produce for sale, and a wagon to transport everything back to camp. While the campsite, play space, and driveway loops are mowed, most of the grounds are wild so bring your tromping shoes. We also have a play field (with a net) so pack your movie screen, volleyball, soccer ball, badminton set and lawn games. You'll enjoy communing with the farm animals, the goats are especially hands on and love the attention campers give them, while the chickens and ducks are mostly just fun to observe. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum--bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out. While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Just five minutes down the road, Carlisle Lake offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground for the kids. If you're looking to explore the area, Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all just day trips from here. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet in the middle getaway. There are only two sites, far from each other. It is a rural property with a few residential homes and Airbnbs along the river, so be aware there are cars that drive through the one lane road. Town is close by for a quick trip. Privacy is better here than at a public campground and it's perfect for a close trip out of town for a day or two. *This winter was tough, lots of wind, so some trees fell, but they are all cleaned up and lots of small trees were planted. Can't wait until they grow!!! Also, an enclosed dog run is being built and we will eventlually get the pond to be a swim pond that will hold water all year long (the creek that runs into it is seasonal). Please, read each site description carefully! Site 1 has a composting toilet for tent campers (please do not rate me based on this or any other things out of my control, I have tried my best to inform you about what to be aware of in this description and each site's description, importantly the toilet is santized, bags and gel are provided and it's private, however, you MUST pack out ALL waste; if you do not like any of these conditions please do not book this site to help avoid a less than recommended rating). Site 2 is for RVs that already have a toilet so if you are a tent camper and want to book this site you will need to bring your own camp toilet. We are located 10 minutes from Hillsboro, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 5 minutes to North Plains and 3 minutes to two wineries - Helvetia Winery and Eagles Nest Winery. The Skookumchuck River is a little over a mile away where you can enjoy a waterfall and walk along the river with low bank where one can get into the water. Doing so is a great favorite of our guests. There is a giant crystal housed in a gazebo that overlooks the surrounding fields and woods. Time to meditate with the giant crystal in the gazebo can be booked with Kathleen for a fee of $55. We are wild and woolly. We provide a place to experience nature as it simply is. We privilege pollinators above human aesthetics. Wildflowers abound, including various dandelions which many are edible and healing plants. We encourage converting from lawns to meadow lands being supportive of wild birds and insects. If you like it wild we are the place for you. This is not a resort or English style garden. Relax and enjoy the serenity or go fishing! Depending upon the season, you can fish from our bank for steelhead, salmon, smelt and sometimes even sea run cutthroat trout! Fishing does vary depending upon the time of year. RV's must be self conatined as we have no hook up's, however we can fill you up with non potable water when you arrive. If power is truly needed we do have a generator you can rent for a small fee.

A Visitors Haven

We would love to share our beautiful wooded 8 acres. We live here but your site is far enough from our house for privacy. The RV pad is surrounded by trees. Our RV space will easily park a 38ft. RV. It has full hookups with either 30 amp or 50-amp power. You are only 2 miles from shopping and only miles from Lackamas Lake and Battleground Lake for hiking, swimming, biking, boating and fishing. Down the road about 1/4 mile is Velvet Acres barn where you can buy fresh produce in July, August and September, then in October it's a Pumpkin Patch. Be sure while you’re here you visit Vancouvers waterfront downtown. Great shops and excellent places to eat. On weekends there’s a large farmers market that has all kinds of fresh produce. While here be sure to drive out to the gorge, it is one of the more breathtaking sites in the NW. We are 10 miles from the Columbia River and 36 miles from Multnomah Falls. On a nice day you can drive to the beach to cool off, it's about 90 miles to Longbeach. Being in the wetlands we have a lot of trees for privacy. The RV area is at the end of an area that is gated for security. There is a grassy area outside your door and a grassy area out back of your RV. We have trails you are welcome to use. You will see bunnies and all kinds of birds as well as deer that visit now and then. Although they have built homes on the west side the fence and trees give plenty of privacy. They recently started a home that should be done within a month. Contact me for updates. This is a perfect place if visiting the area or it’s a great place for snowbirds or workers that are in this area for weeks or months. Text me ahead for openings.
