32 ft travel trailer

2 nights at The Hay Farm

It was a beautiful area. At first we thought it might be noisy but it wasn’t! We had the spot closest to creek. We weren’t there much but felt comfortable leaving our rig during the day and so quiet at night. We would stay there again!

Weekend Trip to Country Home Lane

Our stay with Kathleen was great. Her beautiful property was very conveniently located for us with just the right amount of Countryside yet close to amenities. We spent time at our Daughters Softball tournament, walked the dogs at the river and joined our family at the cutest brewery right down the road. The fenced yard and fire pit patio were perfect to come home to after a long day out and about with the dogs and kids.

Great little farm and host was super nice and friendly. Unfortunate for me I didn’t check the weather so it was pouring down rain the whole time. I ended up getting a cheap Airbnb to escape the elements. I would def stay there though if it weren’t raining!

2 nights at The Original 100 Acre Farm

I loved staying at the 100 acre farm. Easy to find, friendly hosts, great hiking in the area. Electricity and water on site. No complaints whatsoever. Will stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you for a great weekend.

Weekend Trip to Ricks Exercise Farm

Rick made a nice RV spot, nice level gravel and a little cement pad with a picnic table on top. Would be a bit tricky to pull in (or back in) for a large trailer or RV but worked well for us. If certain country smells bother you, this spot may not be right for you, cows right across the street.

Shane's spot is a really nice view of the landscape. He was very welcoming and let me spread out a bit with less renters. He was helpful for some trail recommendations as well! Water quality is drinkable from spigot. This made my 1 night stop very replenishing.

Great spot and host. Joseph was easy to work with and driving instructions were easy to follow. They even have a flat place atop the property for an RV with a great view of the mountains.

Weekend Trip to Windy Basin Ranch Camp

Raychel’s little ranch was a Perfect spot for my son and I and our sprinter van and puppy! She was incredibly accommodating and friendly and had already built us all the supplies for a nice cozy campfire. We really enjoyed meeting the goat a dog and a horse and pony. It is really a special place and we are looking forward to coming back another time thanks again for everything!

A very private, peaceful RV park with 3 large RV-spaces, with water and 2 50amp and 1 30amp electrical hook-up. 3 fire pits and picnic tables, river trail down to Little Creek and Yakama River for float in/float out river tubing and fishing directly behind RV spaces. We have farm fresh eggs for sale and firewood bundles. Evening solar lights and festoon lighting in trees that allow for relaxing atmosphere. Spaces large enough for large busses and trailers for directly pull in in spaces #1 and #2. Space #3 is back-in only. Upon entry to property if you need to disconnect vehicle or trailers, there is a large space Southeast upon entry. Caretaker lives on site in the farmhouse. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. Just 4 miles from downtown, you’ll find shaded campsites at Yakima Sportsman State Park. The RV park offers full hookups and sites for campers up to 60 feet long. Come for the fantastic wetland birdwatching or fish in the stocked pond. A short drive away, Cowiche Canyon offers 30 miles of mountain-biking trails.

As you head north toward Ellensburg, check out four campgrounds in the Yakima River Canyon. From your tent, you can take a kid-friendly raft trip or fish for trout. On land, hike along basalt cliffs or enjoy the view from the campgrounds’ picnic tables and fire pits.
