Drive Way Getta Way…
This is a beautiful quiet driveway. It is private, there is electric & water hookups if you need. Safe area to walk your dog at night. There is a laundry dryer vent right next to the parking spot, so if you are sensitive to dryer vent effluvium, you should mention it to the host; I’m sure he would have waited til I left to dry laundry but I didn’t mention anything

Definitely Recommend!
Jeffrey's drive way was a quiet and safe place for us to park our campervan overnight! Easy to find and great communication! The succulent wall was amazing and the snails on them entertained us in the morning. 😜

PEACEFUL, great location!
We had an outstanding stay . Our motor home is 25 foot Dynamax on a sprinter chassis. It has a full slide ! No problem in the driveway, and it was level! Ask Jeffrey for tips on getting in driveway - it took driving skill but was worth it. Water, electric and a private cozy firepit area with trees , veggies and plants …. And a water view ! The host and his small daughter joined us by invitation and were charming - even shared his firewood!
We would go back ……also his home snd driveway are minutes to Arcata town square in a charming established area. Easy to find off of Hwy 101. Thank you Jeffrey !

Drive Way Getta Way…
A great option for a self contained traveler. Location is off the street, quiet, and with no bright lights in view. Host Jeffrey was friendly and offered access to outside water and electricity. Walking distance or short drive to most parts of Arcata. It fit my needs and I slept well.
The community forest is a must do if stopping here. It's a locally managed redwood forest that's as impressive as the state parks, and just up the hill from this Hipcamp. The nearby marsh is peaceful and good for bird watching as well. There's a great farmer's market in the town square on Saturday mornings. There's even a handful of Victorian houses worth looking at. Arcata has quite a lot to offer for a small town and is worth the stop over during an extended road trip.
