Toilet & shower didn't work
The stars and views were great and this was pretty close to Joshua Tree. If I were looking for primitive camping or just a place to put a tent, I would stay here again. The toilet was full of toilet paper, clogged, smelly, and overall gross. The shower didn't work. If you want a shower/toilet, maybe go somewhere else.

We chose that campsite because of the toilet and shower. But when we arrived, surprise, no water. The toilet was apparently used without the possibility to flush, no description needed… No solution was given to us. Really disappointed…

Loved the little shack. It is a great place to escape the wind and play board games. You’ll enjoy if you’re an avid camper with minimal needs for amenities. Also appreciated the pull up bar.

Well worth the price paid, flat area to park van, nice clean solar powered outpost with cold water and outdoor shower. Good starlink wifi as well as some cell service. A couple of small things weren't working when we arrived but we booked last minute as well. Joe the host responded answering questions. Overall would stay again!

Great hippcamp stay, and highly recommend!! Joe was great with communication for any questions I had. The property had a great layout and the cabin was wonderful to work in during the day. There was starlink wifi on the property and also had full bars for 5g with Verizon. Incredible views, will definitely be back!

Cute little spot. The marine base is close though. Explosions and gunfire from trainings were heard with a break from about 10 or 11 until 7 AM. When arriving, attempted to contact the owners to get the toilet and shower area at least unlocked, and never got a response. Even a few days later there’s been no response. All campsites are only a few feet apart as well.
