Driveway winds down the canyon somewhere you may find two seasonal creeks and almost 5 acres of Old School Topanga Feels. Picturesque cabin built in the '50's. Family owned since early '60's and used as a hunter's cabin. There is an additional, smaller cabin on property. Only 7 miles as the crow flies to the Pacific Coast (Topanga State Beach). Here, you’ll be surrounded by a sense of Zen with the gentle breeze through the tall trees and the birds chirping. The property is also very private!

Topanga Hillside Homestead

Beautiful Camping in Topanga

This was a truly beautiful place to camp. Right in the hills of Topanga, but close enough to town to see all the sights. Sunset was beautiful and the picnic tables were great for cooking and eating. There are some really nice hikes just up the road so it was nice to have easy access to nature without having to drive. Tips: I would recommend checking with your host that the campsite does not have the owner or someone else staying in the Airstream if you want more of a private camping experience. Luckily, we had the place to ourselves, but the host let us know that the owner might be staying there that night. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a surprise for us because the airstream is in close proximity. Overall we had a really beautiful evening! Directions: Make sure to follow Hillside up to get there. Google Maps took us to the wrong site initially.
