Live it up in our simple and rustic cabin sitting on the edge of our pond stocked with game fish for you to enjoy feeding and watching (absolutely no fishing). Utilize our outdoor cooking kitchen, and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Cabin features queen bed, table, wood burning stove and microwave. Detached shower and bath is off grid. Cabin is equipped with 1, queen bed. Additional guests must bring bed rolls to accommodate. Cabin has approximately 1200 of deck and dock to enjoy your meals or just hang out. Pond Shack

Really good experience, I would definitely recommend it. The area is gorgeous, the hosts are super friendly and welcoming, and the ranch is lovely with its pond, horses, and dogs. Heather is an amazing horse archer, which is cool as heck, and we got to see her in action with their targets. As the name of the place strongly suggests, guests must love dogs or at least be comfortable with them. They have several large dogs that will come to you, and they may be some of the largest dogs you have ever seen. The road appears as closed in Google Maps and has signage as closed, but neighbors still use it with caution. I could use the curb to go around the broken section with my small hatchback, but I would not recommend it to a tall vehicle like an RV. Lastly, I must mention two things: the kitchen and ants in the cabin. The kitchen is not fully equipped as we thought from the listing. There is a gas stove that we managed to use for boiling water, but we could not get the grill working. The surfaces were dirty and there was no other cooking equipment. There is a considerable amount of ants in the cabin. They are aware and working on it, but I see how other people could have freaked out about it. We could work around these issues and had a good experience.
