You'll find our 5 acres at the end of a quiet, cedar-lined road 15 minutes from downtown Nevada City. 7 minutes further down the road is Edward's Crossing, a beautiful and historic crossing on the Yuba River offering breathtaking views, rock jumping, and icy, magical waters.
Nearby there are additional hiking trails, mountain biking trails, lake boating and swimming spots, and so many river swimming holes. We're 10 minutes from Highway 20 and just 45 minutes from Truckee.
Our land is close enough to town to grab a bite to eat, but far enough that there are no lights to block the stars.Take a deep inhale and relax in a secluded canvas tent on top of a beautiful cedar deck nestled underneath the pines and cedars. No need to bring your tent., the canvas tent is available just for you and comes with 2 protected mattresses, towels for showering and the river, and a private, outdoor bathroom with a flush toilet and hot shower. Just set up your overnight gear and get cozy.
Fires are not permitted at this time. Please cook outside of the tent if you choose to cook.
We are on the edge of the forest surrounded by hundreds of acres of open woodland, meaning we do have wildlife out here. Please be bear-aware and do not leave food out, use a canister if possible, and bring bear spray for an emergency.
On the property we have 3 small, medium, and large dogs and 2 cats that roam freely. You are welcome to bring your pets as long as they are friendly and get along with other dogs. From time to time neighborhood dogs will roam freely.
