5 acres of trees up on a hill with breathtaking views of the mountains, including the 14er peak, Mount Sneffels. Only 5 miles from the small mountain town of Ridgway, Colorado and only 30 miles from the famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. Friendly hosts willing to offer great advice about how to explore the area. The mountain views from the property makes you imagine you are in Nepal looking at one of the Himalayan Peaks!Park your van or car (there is a space for tent not far from the parking spot…note: must be totally self contained, toilet, etc). Walk 50 yards from your spot and set up your chairs and enjoy the sense of being in the wild and viewing the Rockies where Mount Sneffels is the showpiece. You can easily imagine you in Nepal viewing the Mountains. You are only a short drive away from Orvis Hot Springs, Ouray Hot Springs, and 30 minutes from downtown Telluride, Colorado.

Great spot!
Cozy little spot to camp. Host was very friendly, and the spot was nice and flat underneath a beautiful old tree. Would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Views
Perfect spot, even better views! Good cell service, good sky view for Starlink, close to Ridgway town and Orvis Host Springs was amazing. Also easy access to the Blue Lakes trailhead.

Lovely site!
Spot was easy to find and exactly as expected from the listing. Hosts were friendly and offered some local suggestions. We loved the serenading of the elk rut around us.

Not worth it
Great views but….site is not level, we were told to only use a few gallons of water. Not worth the price
