If you are seeking an outdoor getaway but don't have a camper to do so, come use ours! If you have your own camper and can't find a place to park for a few nights (up to a week if you are self-sustained) hit me up too! We have space for you as well. Tent camping too if you so wish. We welcome you to our 36 foot trailer to escape in on our 10acre property. Full hook-ups to help make you comfortable on your stay; however, the amps are not high enough for AC so please keep that in mind. (we are working on adding this feature) The trailer has a master bedroom (linens provided) as well as 2 queen bunk-beds in the back (linens NOT provided). There are 2 bathrooms in the RV. The master bathroom has a shower/bath. SO it can sleep 6 adults comfortably. The RV also has a full kitchen to cook in with working microwave, gas stove/burners and refrigerator. We live just up the driveway 90 feet if you need anything; however, you are far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet solo. Farther away from anyone in an RV park, plus the views! We are up Rist Canyon, just 16 miles from Old Town Fort Collins or 11 miles to Laporte (the nearest supermarket and the famous Vern's Restaurant). We are 52 miles from Estes Park, CO and 21 miles from Red Feather Lake.

Serene Camp Site #1
Pathetic.
Junkyard property and disgusting outhouse. Bullet shells all over. Gunfire in the nearby woods in the early morning. Giant MAGA World signs up the road along with gun slinging rusty statue. Not easy to get to and lots of better places in the area. Zero contact with owner. Waste of $50. Worse than a waste: an offense. Not using Hipcamp anymore. No QC.

Private and quiet
Very friendly hosts. Once checked in, we were pretty much left alone on their beautiful and private property. They gave us free firewood and some recommendations for local events.

PEACEFUL
If your soul desires a peaceful time in the mountains amongst lovely smelling pine trees look no further. We pulled our camper into campsite #1 which in my opinion is the best spot. We took several walks around the property with our two pups and they were stimulated and engaged by all the scents provided by nature. One of them enjoyed eating deer jelly beans🤣. To our observation we saw no signs of predator animals. The neighbor’s dog did not bother us. All in all we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend 4wheel drive for the climb on the dirt road during rainy or snowy weather.

Responsive and kind host!
Kimberly's property is beautiful and we're grateful whenever someone chooses to host and share their views and land with us when we're literal strangers, but so appreciative. To the stay: we had an amazing time, we were booking super last minute so it was nice to get something that met all our criteria: pets allowed, a toilet on-site, able to bring two cars and two tents. Spots 1 and 5 are down to the right when you pull in but still far enough away from each other. On night two, the campers in site 5 arrived and we could hear them talking but we were both respectful of sound traveling and tried to not disturb each other. One thing, we were actually going to book site 5 but Hipcamp would only let us select up to one car for that site, so we went with site 1, which Hipcamp allowed us to select two cars for. But our neighbors on site 5 ended up having like three or more cars over there at one point. Spots 2-4 are much closer together at the top of the hill but still nice. Our site had a picnic table, fire pit, and a fairly level surface for at least one tent. Our second tent was on a little more of a decline but manageable. Site 1 was probably the closest to the porta potty (which was tight for tall people but clean minus expected bugs in the wilderness). Overall, beautiful view and property, site was semi close to the house, roosters in the morning, and dogs at night but nothing ear plugs can't fix. And we saw many deer and turkeys!
