Whispering Pines Site #2
This site served its purpose for my overnight stay, providing a place to park my vehicle, have dinner, and get some rest. The beautiful land and trees were a highlight, but I found the overall surroundings didn’t quite match my expectations.
One aspect I wish had been communicated better was the lack of a bathroom, as I expected one to be available. Thankfully, I came somewhat prepared for that. Overall, while there were some drawbacks, I appreciate the opportunity to experience the site.

Private and quiet
Very friendly hosts. Once checked in, we were pretty much left alone on their beautiful and private property. They gave us free firewood and some recommendations for local events.

PEACEFUL
If your soul desires a peaceful time in the mountains amongst lovely smelling pine trees look no further. We pulled our camper into campsite #1 which in my opinion is the best spot. We took several walks around the property with our two pups and they were stimulated and engaged by all the scents provided by nature. One of them enjoyed eating deer jelly beans🤣. To our observation we saw no signs of predator animals. The neighbor’s dog did not bother us. All in all we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend 4wheel drive for the climb on the dirt road during rainy or snowy weather.

Serene Camp Site #1
Responsive and kind host!
Kimberly's property is beautiful and we're grateful whenever someone chooses to host and share their views and land with us when we're literal strangers, but so appreciative. To the stay: we had an amazing time, we were booking super last minute so it was nice to get something that met all our criteria: pets allowed, a toilet on-site, able to bring two cars and two tents.
Spots 1 and 5 are down to the right when you pull in but still far enough away from each other. On night two, the campers in site 5 arrived and we could hear them talking but we were both respectful of sound traveling and tried to not disturb each other. One thing, we were actually going to book site 5 but Hipcamp would only let us select up to one car for that site, so we went with site 1, which Hipcamp allowed us to select two cars for. But our neighbors on site 5 ended up having like three or more cars over there at one point.
Spots 2-4 are much closer together at the top of the hill but still nice. Our site had a picnic table, fire pit, and a fairly level surface for at least one tent. Our second tent was on a little more of a decline but manageable. Site 1 was probably the closest to the porta potty (which was tight for tall people but clean minus expected bugs in the wilderness).
Overall, beautiful view and property, site was semi close to the house, roosters in the morning, and dogs at night but nothing ear plugs can't fix. And we saw many deer and turkeys!
