40 minutes north of Walton County beaches, welcome to country experiences at its best. Walk through the 25 acres of meadows and woods or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet. You can pop a tent anywhere or use the small cabin. If you choose to use tents, the cabin will be available during your stay in case of bad weather. Inside the cabin are solar powered lights, a couch, and a hammock. There is a small cooking area for outdoor cooking. An outhouse is near the cabin as well as an outdoor, gravity fed shower, which is supplied from a rain barrel. This place is as rustic as you can get while still giving options for comfort. Peaceful and secluded!
Such a beautiful spot!! The property was secluded, quiet, and peaceful. Our dogs had a blast running around and exploring. The cabin had so many thoughtful touches, lots of yard games/toys and even some chairs for outside! We unfortunately had to cut our trip short because of some issues back home, so we didn’t get to utilize the shower or outdoor kitchen. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions! Definitely a spot I’d love to return to!

Charming and secluded cabin close to the high point of Florida (the reason for our trip). The host has truly thought of everything in terms of sustainability and comfort. Nicely decorated, comfortable, beautiful sunset views from the porch. If I ever find myself in the area again, I will be back!

Thanks Bryan amazing place
Unfortunately due to a emergency we had to leave early but the cabin was super nice not what I expected at all we loved it . The property was amazing a perfect spot to get away from everything, we would have loved to stayed but we will be back and try again. Bryan was super sweet and very understanding would definitely recommend to all friends can't wait to go back and actually experience the full camping trip with no distractions..

Made alot of Freat memories with yo
What an experience it was for us we loved it!! Seen plenty of wildlife and Rabbits even thro the nights.The cabin and some other touches Mr.Brian added with the solar power was really cool.Beautiful Sunsets and Sunrises Can't say enough about the incredible memories we made at Rundown Ridge.Amazing Place and Mr.Brian always made us feel like all we had to do was Ask and he would help.

This was a great place to stay. I would recommend bringing a fan with you. We loved the cabin and outdoor shower. Very private.

Great stay!
My stay was fantastic! The cabin was perfect. It was everything we were looking for. Privacy, quiet, peaceful, healing, etc. Brian was such a great host. He gave us great recommendations and even helped us BIG TIME when I got a flat tire. I definitely recommend if you want to disconnect for a while. I will certainly be back. Thank you so much!
