PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING... 30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Absolutely amazing river front spacious, private site. Very clean, just beautiful actually, quiet and tranquil. Beautiful area and experience. Highly recommend! Caught a citation smallmouth as well 5lb smallmouth bass!!!!

Jon-Mikel’s place never fails to please. Returned this year for my birthday 🥳 It was amazing, as always. I LOVE hearing the birds sing, listening to the river roll by, and enjoying a cool breeze while walking my dogs through the back trails. Riverside is well kept, clean, private… just overall absolutely gorgeous. Grab your fur babies, pack up the family and give it a try. You don’t won’t be disappointed 🤗

Site Five - Ellie's Favorite

Another great stay at site 5 and Jon is awwsome. This is a great go to for me. Great site with plenty of space, clean, plenty of shade, and you're not right on top of people like a campground. The river is a bonus, a great place to cool off on a hot day and relax with the dog. Will be back for sure

Such a fun property! A great way to get out in nature and enjoy the backcountry. Stayed in site 1 and was very pleased with everything. Plus, driving through the creek is fun ;)

We really enjoyed our stay at site 3. Plenty of space for us. We saw people at both sites near us We never heard them. It felt remote. Late at night you can hear the cars on the road which can be a little annoying while trying to sleep but I brought ear plugs with me just in case so no big deal. The view of the river from the site was awesome and it was an easy walk to it. We could not figure out how to safely walk to the creek with my daughter it was quite a bug drop off to access it. My family thought driving over the creek was really cool too! Would definitely recommend this site to others and I would stay there again!
